We visited for breakfast while traveling on Thanksgiving morning. This Springfield BE location was serving a very limited meal... for the holiday: only meat, bread and potatoes. Only could choose from 1 of 3 dishes for breakfast. Apparently they limitedbreakfast offerings to make room for their Thanksgiving day dinner menu. We left without even being seated when the hostess toldus about the limited menu. Read more

The service from Willow was fantastic and the food was great. The store is in need of a face lift, it is starting to show the... lack of regular maintenance and everyday cleaning. I'm sure the economy and lack of quality employees has a great deal to dowith these issues. Speaking of lack of quality employees. The young man acting as a host should not be the first person a guesttalks to when they arrive. He should not be the face of Bob Evans on first street. He will be ready one day, but not the day.Overall it was a positive visit. Read more

We go to Bob Evan?s on Bechtle avenue in Springfield Ohio at least three times a week - at least we used to until tonight. We... went in tonight an hour and half before they were scheduled to close with a party of six and were told that they would not seatus for thirty five minutes - and they implied that it would be too close to their closing. There were 5 cars in the parking lot. They were not busy but they had closed a section and didn?t want to open it. We said ok - is there any other options - theirresponse was ?we suggest you find another place to eat tonight?. This is after we had already been checked in and been waitingfor about 10 mins. We will now take the time to go across town to eat at the One there - hopefully they have better management.Bechtle road - you just lost a very loyal customer due to being rude. Read more

My daughter and I went for brunch and the stuff was very kind. Very clean restaurant. The manager came over personally and asked... how our food was. Check-out went smooth. Give this restaurant 5+ stars Read more

Gift cards at Bob Evans continue to be hit-or-miss. The one I was sent had a receipt included. The young man at the cash... register helping me pay for the meal was paying marginal attention, decided I was adding money to the card, and swiped it to doso. He then voided the transaction, but the next time we tried using the card again, it read 'inactive', not that it had $20 onit. Bob Evans, as a company, needs to be forthcoming about what percentage of its gift cards are declined. I had a similarproblem a couple years ago when I was told that the gift card I had was too old to look up in their system. The pandemic hashit these places pretty hard. The staff was young, relatively inexperienced, uninterested in the goings-on of the restaurant ingeneral, or in serving customers in a timely manner. Like a lot of businesses, this one seemed short-staffed. We were toldthat the wait to be seated would be 10 to 15 minutes, but it was more like forty minutes. The kids canoodling in the cornerdidn't seem to be bothered by the passage of time and I envied their distraction with one another. I was left to survey thedwindling supply of junk. The plastic home-spun novelties sold in the lobby to kids who are held captive in back seats on longhot car rides and grandparents who are less apt to saying 'no'. My cousin came up from Florida for a funeral. He was talkingabout cars, but I was only half-listening and half-wondering why any of us were sitting around at Bob Evans. We ordered. Therewas a long, long time for more talking and more half-listening. Eventually the food got to the table. It was suitably hot. Mycousin had the cod. I don't know what he was expecting from cod in Ohio, but he still wasn't impressed. My deep dish chickenand noodles are hard to screw up. They were fine. Okay, so I'm a bachelor, I was depressed. The food didn't really have muchof a taste. But at least it wasn't another spoonful of peanut butter on the way to do something Read more

This was a great experience today Just like every Bob Evans. As I pulled up I was curious if the place was open because it... wasn?t very busy and it did seem kind of dark inside but it was a rainy day. The food was awesome and the service was veryattentive. I would rate this an A+ and I would recommend it highly to everybody Read more

Let me start off by saying that Brittany the Hostess is just as nice and sweet as can be. Our waitress was helpful and nice as... well. It was the lunch rush, and all of the waitresses were very busy. We only had to wait about 5 or 6 minutes to be seated. Wewaited another 5 minutes for our drinks. The wait for food was 45 minutes, and it was pretty much just OK. A man left shortlyafter we arrived and his table remained untouched for our entire visit. I can't say I won't go back, but I will not choose lunchtime again no matter what. Read more
