Jims closes at 12am according to the door as well as online. I walk in 11:10pm and the grill guy looked to be cleaning the grill... and a young woman behind the counter says they are closed. I said the door and online says your open to 12am and she says no weclose at 11pm on Monday's. It would be nice if they let the customers know that they close early on Monday's so they don't goout of there way on there lunch break and wind up with nothing to eat for lunch. Read more

I was the cook there recently.. I had to quit. I do miss my customers.. and enjoy serving every customer.. ive putting my heart... and soul in every steaks I make. I'm sure everyone works hard and earns a decent steak. And yes it is the right place to go to.Whoever is cooking on the grill, let them know how you like you steaks to be made and they will do their best to give you anamazing steak... I apologize again. I wish I could cook for you again. I want to thank every single customer that took theirtime from their busy schedules, and also given me an opportunity to become the person who i was once was before. And want tothank you all. God bless you. Read more

We were starving after a concert and chose Jim's to grab cheesesteaks on the way home. They're open till 2am (on Saturday at... least), which was convenient. We called in our order ahead of time. Our call was answered promptly and all our particularshandled patiently and politely. Our order was ready and correct when we got there. (We were sorry we'd forgotten they had onionrings and milkshakes when we called ???????.) The chef and receptionist made a great team. They were HUSTLING to accommodate thewalkin and call ahead orders, but they were friendly, kind, and accurate. The sandwiches were really good - the onions donejust right. We'll definitely go back!! Excellent cheesesteak spot, friendly staff, super fresh food. Definitely a go to spot. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is... that prices are a bit high compared to the local pizza places. But don?t let it deter you. Read more

Had a chicken cheese steak which was chicken breast cut up, with fried onions. The bread was fresh. Just know how you want your... steak when you go in, felt pressure because I never have been there before and didn't know the process. Definitely not a Phillyspot, but ok. Read more

Their whiz is good. The steak is constantly grilled in front of you. I?d recommend. It now takes the #2 spot for Phillys in... Philly (I?ve only tried 4). Read more

The highlights of this location are 3 things. 1. No one yelling at you to scream your order in a hurry 2. ample parking 3. good... milkshakes That's honestly pretty much all. Not a bad steak, not the best steak. I do think Jim's on South does taste alittle better, but honestly in the last 5 years or so, many other cheesesteak places have emerged with a better steak in myopinion. This is a nice on/off from the highway when leaving Philly airport and it is a decent sandwich. Would not be in mytop 5 in Philly, maybe not even top 10. Please keep in mind though, the flavor and what people like about a cheesesteak istotally subjective. Read more
