Our food was delicious! We both had the lunch special filet mignon and shrimp for $12.99. the steak tidbits were very tender and... flavorful and the shrimp was cooked perfectly had a light brown sauce on it and served with lightly sauteed vegetables came withdelicious fried rice . The service was speedy but not necessarily that friendly. Clean bathrooms. I would definitely go back! Read more
I have been eating here since they opened and they never disappoint. The sushi is great and the hibachi is too! The staff is... friendly. The owner, Calvin, is a super nice guy. He always remembers me, seems very glad to see me again, and never fails toask about my daughter. I wouldn't expect a small town like Springfield to have sushi this good, but yet they do! Fantastic, I was here on a date. They were amazing. Left us alone to talk but came by checking on drinks and the like at perfect... timing. The sushi was massive and wonderful quality sashimi was even better. My order was quite good. The scallops were slightlyover done with just a bit of a rubbery skin. The steak was not quite median rare and not nearly as good quality beef at Iexpected for the price of the plate. That said. I recommend Ichiban, good atmosphere and excellent staff. Read more
Cute small town Japanese restaurant. No sit down hibachi grill. The service was great. Their sushi menu had a nice variety. Had... the East to West and Valentine rolls, the portion was large and they were tasty. Got the filet mignon hibachi, it had way toomuch gravy and almost seemed like it was scooped out of a pre-made container, lukewarm temperature. The prices were good. Read more
