I stumbled upon this spot while getting my car serviced across the street. I was pleasantly surprised by its offerings and happy... I dined here. This spot offers both American breakfast and lunch fare and Japanese food items.\n\nI ordered the Western OmeletPlatter (comes with home fries) + upgrade bagel from toast and a large coffee. The grand total was under $12, which was great.The meal was as straightforward and home-cooked, which is what I expected. The omelette and potatoes were under seasoned, butstill cooked well. We ordered some hamachi sashimi, sushi a la carte and shrimp/veg tempura platter. everything was so fresh and amazing! Don?t... let the unassuming restaurant appearance fool you. The staff take such pride in their food and I very much appreciated thatthey use real ginger (not pink imitation kind) for sushi! Tempura was crisp and perfect. This is now our go-to sushi place! I?m surprised I didn?t discover this place sooner, now, this will be my go-to for sushi. I had the Tuna, Spicy Salmon, and Sweet... Potato Tempura rolls on top of their Vegetarian Platter. All of these were fantastic and flavorful, the platter included Misosoup which was the perfect temperature to slurp down. What sells this place are the staff, they wanted to make sure we had thebest food possible. Absolutely phenomenal!!!!! Best thing to happen to our neighborhood. From where it is located and the extensive menu one might... be skeptical but, this sushi place is LEGIT!! The guy that makes the sushi apparently is a trained sushi chef. We got the crownroyal roll which includes soft shell crab, Japanese lasagna, rainbow Roll and shrimp tempura. The taste and quality of the food were the best. I knew he was a Fairfax famous Japanese chef. We especially like sashimi and... eel and shrimp rolls(Wow).
