Always great food and service here. I had the diablo burrito, which was very spicy as expected, but also had a tangy taste, like... the vinegar in bottled hot sauce or pickled jalapenos. Not my favorite dish but still pretty good and the presentation wasplayful and fun. The beer on tap is always super cold, and they make a great skinny margarita. The birria burrito was delicious! We were here with a large party, including my 2 month old baby. They made a long table to... accommodate us. The waiters were polite and interactive. The food is authentic and excellent positions. Love the flavors, such agreat value! Was surprised to learn that this was here and associated with Woodbridge location! What a coincidence! I'm from El Paso, TX, and I find a Mexican restaurant by the name of El Paso! Any doubts that El Paso, TX... is the Mexican food capital? Back to the restaurant, it is very nicely decorated and the people working here were friendly andefficient. The food was excellent, tasty and filling, very close to authentic Tex Mex. Good for the Washington area. As anotherreviewer stated, there were a lot of Hispanics here, so they know what they like. Good margaritas, too. If you like Mexicanfood, go to El Paso. Read more

Upon entry, the decor and colors are quite bright and beautiful. Food was pretty tasty. I got the Enchiladas Banderita and I... appreciated the different sauces on each one. Rice and beans were standard; nothing special. I know this is a local favorite,but unfortunately it was not a favorite place for me. I would eat here again and try something different. Just had a lunch at El Paso. I felt like I was in Mexico. Very authentic and colorful interior design with beautiful mexican... music. The food from the start to the finish is 5 star above. The service was great. I will go back there for sure when I am inVirginia. Read more

This is our first time here and we absolutely loved it! There was about a 15 minute wait and the place was full of Hispanic... families. If Hispanic families patronize a Mexican restaurant I feel like they would be a good judge. Not racist just obvious.Just like a New York Italian restaurant filled with Italian families. THAT'S the Italian restaurant I want to go to. I feel likewe're still allowed to have ethnicity and food comparisons and in fact family run ethnic business are extremely proud of theethnic food they prepare and serve. This place is a wonderful example of great Mexican food in a great Mexican restaurantatmosphere. Everything was great from start to finish. Shrimp was huge! Refried beans and cheese were amazing. Delicious dining experience. Really love the location, ample seating indoors and outdoors. The indoor decor is bright and... beautiful Mexican art all over, which was delightful. Service is very friendly. The complimentary chips and salsa are SO good:warm chips plus really solid salsa. Meals were good for all orders: enchiladas verdes, fish tacos, and vegetarian fajitas. Onlydownside is that the rice wasn’t as flavorful as I had hoped, but seeing as it wasn’t the star of the meal, that was ok forus. The rest of the meal was great. Would go again! Read more
