We went here for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday and were really impressed. We had a reservation and were sat... almost right away, the establishment was well decorated and inviting, our waiter was friendly, knowledgable, and attentive, heactually bussed our table frequently (so many restaurants don't even attempt to do this anymore), cocktails were great, food wasgreat, and they gave our friend a free dessert for her birthday. Only negatives: the chandelier at the table behind us wasbroken and the people were using their iPhones to read their menus, and we noticed the framed photos on the walls were cover indust. Update: Someone from Maggianos responded and said I should contact Door Dash. This order was a customer pickup done on the... Maggiano's website. I don't even have a Door Dash account. Even if it was a third party, how on earth would the quality of mymeal have anything to do with a delivery service? I've amended my review from two stars to one. Original review: This was ourfirst order from Maggiano's since before the pandemic. It was our wedding anniversary and we decided to stay in, splurge a bitand order out from one of our favorite places. Firstly, after my husband arrived and checked in, he was acknowledged and thenignored for ages. I called the restaurant to remind them he was outside, and they responded in such a manner that I can onlyassume he'd been forgotten. Okay, no big whoop. Maybe they were super busy. Then I opened the food. The fettucine portionwas not very large for two people. It was dry and hard and the sauce had seeped down to the bottom of the container in a sadsticky puddle. I sighed, but tried to make the best of it. I stirred as best I could, cut the lump in half with a spatula andflipped it upside down so my husband wouldn't see how bad it looked. Then I opened the salad. What.the.fudge. The avocado Ipaid extra for was so old it had turned black. Not just brown from being cut and sitting for awhile, black and rotten. (seephotos) One of the three cherry tomatoes had a black rotten spot. The croutons no longer had an iota of crunch - they kind ofsadly dissolved when eaten. One of the loaves of bread was burned. (I think some people like it that way, but it should be anoption, not a default.) Had to throw it out it was so hard inside and out. The cheesecake - pretty darn good. Good Italian restaurant that is at the Springfield Mall. Recommend getting reservations before you show up especially on... weekends before dinner as they can get busy and seem to have less staff than tables. I ordered the Steak Medallions which werecooked perfectly but I thought the sauce was just ok and I asked for a vegetable instead of the mashed potatoes but still gotthe potatoes. They were good about fixing the problem and brought out my vegetables. The restaurant tends to have large groupsand there is not great dividers to buffer the sound so it gets really loud depending on who is sitting near you. Excellent service and everything was SO good! We didn't have a reservation, but only had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated.... Our waitress was great, she didn't miss a beat. The food arrived quickly to the table. Large portions and very flavorful. Highlyrecommend! Read more

Was able to celebrate a awesome milestone for a awesome lady. Food was delicious and the bartender made the drinks perfectly. ...
