Moe's Peyton Place is the epitome of all that I had hoped for a bar to be growing up. As I grew up, I would see the... stereotypical bar from Cheers or the Simpsons and imagine that every bar had the same atmosphere. Oh, my disappointment when Icame of age and nothing quite hit that internal itch of what I wanted a bar to be. Thankfully I found Moe's Peyton Place. I'vebeen coming here fairly regularly for a few months now and I am more than happy to say Moe's has what SO MANY modern restaurantsneglect - soul. Let's start with the food: the menu consists of typical brunch/dinner American cuisine, my favorite of whichbeing the corned beef hash brunch. It remains consistent, inexpensive, and incredibly satisfying - really all that you could askfor in bar food. The service is always courteous; I have never had an instance where I felt remotely neglected or bypassedeven during the weekend surges. The wait staff are what bring this bar from good to great, they are always a pleasure. Theatmosphere: Moe's Peyton Place is located in an area of Springfield that has seemingly been passed over by investors. Thesurrounding area is a bit run down as exemplified by the abandoned buildings dotting the area. Internally, Moe's Peyton Place isreminiscent of the early 2000's and likely hasn't been updated much since. Despite this, it feels homey - it feels like there'slife here. It's difficult to put into words, but this bar feels like a staple of this community Overall, I would highlyrecommend giving Moe's Peyton Place a shot. More likely than not you'll have a good time and encounter some interesting folkfrom the area. Read more

We came to eat here for breakfast and there was only one table when we arrived and it took the lady like 5 min to get our drink... order and to give us menus because she kept talking to the lady who was at the other table even after she got our drink order westill didn?t get our drinks till after the waitress got done talking to the lady which was kind of annoying so thats why imgiving it a 3 star the food was OK it wasn?t the best but yeah :) Read more

Google reviews brought me here and I?m glad we did so! The menu may be limited but the food was simple yet delicious. The... servers were friendly and the ambience was homely. I liked that they provide honey to go with the hot tea that I ordered. Thatwas special compared to other diners that I?ve visited. Read more

Moe?s is a family owned and operated establishment that is family friendly and a great adult atmosphere as well. They treat you... like one of the family. The food and drinks are AMAZING! You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner made to order, any time of theday. Occasionally, events are hosted with live entertainment. I love Moe?s!!! Read more

Well. This is Most definitely supported by the locals. I'm a veteran as well, just noting it as it appears this business... supports military service, thanks! An unassuming street-side facade within a small business "park." A Well worn interiorgreets you with a bar area toward the back. Half of the the restaurant is dedicated to the vanishing art of smoking. This isthe kind of place just on looks I would expect to find in a rural West Virginia, so, I would it to appeal to those who arecomfortable with the basics. We we're hoping that the food ordered would be some good-old country grub? Nope. The basics, plain old flap Jack's, low quality beacon, and the coffee was run-of-the-mill pot Joe. I like quality and quantity, organicchoices and a clean and comforting environment. The one server was slow, which probably reflects the laid back local flow? Sometimes the reviews do not reflect the restaurant well, this is the case here. I'd rather pay more and eat and drink betterwithout being exposed to issues cited. Now you know the truth.
