I ask the employee politely if I can use the restroom. She said no?. Must be own by a nasty franchise who has directed to his... employees not to let it happen. I spent a good amount of money with subway every year and I am myself own multiple businesses.I have never let that happen in my businesses. If someone not buying anything now, they will buy something later. This guysneed to be a little more open minded to the customer. Wanted a pizza and there was 1 person behind me. There was 1 person working. He took the pizza and put it in the oven and didnt... ask me if I wanted any toppings and started asking the customer behind me what they wanted. At that point the pizza got warm andwell I didnt want a cheese pizza. Read more

This is by far the best Subway in the DMV area. I have tried three (3) closer to where I live, one downtown DC and have had... Subway catered multiple times downtown DC. The quality and availability of food items is far above other neighboring Subways asis the service, cleanliness of the location and team members actually add veggies to fill the sandwich instead of the others whocount the lettuce strands, pickles and tomato slices such that the sandwich looks anorexic. Not here. The only word of warningis that this location is near a Chick-fil-A that has a VERY faithful following where it can be difficult to get in and out ofthe shopping center, even if you park on the opposite end from Subway. It is inappropriate for an associate to be on the phone when a customer walks in. I was greeted and he continued to use the... phone in the food preparation area. I decided to wait and see if he would follow customer service etiquette and put the phoneaway, he only did so after after I appeared to walk near to look at the menu. As I began to order, the associate then grabbedgloves with his dirty hands that were just using the cell phone. I then proceeded to ask him to wash his hands and he simply ranwater on his hands for 5 seconds and put the same contaminated gloves on. I walked out of the store at this point. Management,please retrain your staff to follow proper hand washing procedures and the importance of reducing the risk of communicablediseases due to poor sanitation practices. I was just there and I was short to get a drink but the Indian guy in the hat covered my balance and he was very great and fast... at service to and polite . Great staff . Read more
