Stopped to use the restroom on our trip. I am so glad that we didn't eat there. The bathroom was absolutely horrible. No trash... bag in the can. It was just laying on the sink. Soap dispenser had a puddle of soap on the floor the size of a salad plate. Soapwas everywhere! The stall( 1 in particular) had trash laying all over the floor. Very disgusting. If the customer area is thisbad I do not want to even think about how bad the employee area may be!!! Read more
I love my local jacks. They need a process that allows at least one employee at all times to focus on customers. (Manager or... designated someone) Or, maybe some training of all employees about customers being the reason that they have a job. The food isusually good, the chicken breast and sandwiches always are, but I thought the staff maybe didn't like me personally. But, I amconvinced they don't like most customers. It may be that upper management, knowing the next jacks is 10 miles away and thecompetition is minimal in this small rural area, is complacent in staff training and retention. I may would spend more dollarsthere if it felt "Hometown" more when I arrived. Read more

Driving through Alabama and kept seeing the food signs for Jack's. Had never heard of it so we stopped in to try it on 11/12... around 7:30. Everyone working there seemed clinically depressed. The guy at the register was the saddest of all. He rings you upand is also the one who assembles your plate. He moves at one pace. Slow, damn slow. I am talking a comedy television showexaggerated ridiculous slow. The sad cook had my burger under the lamp in about 3 minutes. Took poor Eeyore 20 more minutes tostart to assemble my wife's chicken dinner onto a plate. When finally a sad person came from the back to finally help! But hehelps only the sad woman working the drive thru and got right in Eeyore's way and SLOWED HIME EVEN MORE! There were only 4 of usin line and it should should have taken 5 minutes tops. This was not a pandemic "We are short handed" problem which one couldunderstand. Burger and chicken were good, not great. Mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were tasteless. Read more
