We were hoping this place was better than LaCasita, but it wasn't much of a step up. The beams and rice tasted like the were... from a can and microwaved. The food was pretty dry and bland. People were nice and the inside of the place is cool, but weweren't fans. Read more

The service was good, but as far as authentic Mexican restaurants go this was rough.

I'm from CA, land of great Mexican food. Joe's has become a favorite for this CA gal. Their chips and salsa are really the best... and their pop (I know, pop?) is great, too. Their wait staff is always friendly, and their lunch special are tan delicioso! Read more

This is the best place for Mexican food in the south of Utah valley. Their specialty is El Bandido. If you are on the fence... about what you want to order, I can highly recommend el bandido because it is really delicious! The chips and salsa are also todie for. Read more

Salsa was great, seemed fresh and made on the spot. Very delicious. The Taco was good, the crisp kind, and the shredded beef was... good. The beef tamale however was a disappointment. Made ahead of time and nuced. We may be going back to try somethingdifferent. The chips were good and plentiful. Read more

The food is always hot and made fresh. The staff is polite, helpful, friendly and are quick to seat us when we arrive. We... don't have to wait for our bill, we don't have a long wait for our food. They offer refills on beverages as well as chips andsalsa. The prices are very reasonable. I haven't had a bad meal there. They are usually quite busy but their customer servicedoesn't suffer. Food is great. But.... As a restaurant owner, I understand 10% mandatory tips for take out might be necessary. But help me... understand the $1.18 sales tax: it?s 9.08% of my food order of $12.99, or 8.25% of food plus mandatory tips (gratuity should notbe taxed btw). As of May, 2022, Springfield UT sales tax rate is 7.15% FYI @Joe Bandido owner. You are subject to tax auditors?visits. Read more

undercooked and microwaved for 50$ AND A 10% TO GO FEE?? See pictures. SALMON IS BAD, as in NOT SAFE to eat. This is the worst... rubbery tasting potential food poisoning I've had in Utah in a while. Queso we had to scrape off what was salvagable from thesilver binding and microwave it? Rice and beans with cheese were clearly warmed in a microwave, no flavor and have been sitting.Nachos... just look at the picture. We couldn't even get them out of the pan to see what the contents were. :/ update : husbandvomitted first thing in the morning for about an hour. Thanks for the 50 dollar food poisoning. Read more
