Used to enjoy coming here with the wife for our breakfast every now and then. Im not sure who are server was but was short had... red hair. She was very snotty and the service was extremely slow. Waited about 10 mins to even get drinks. Our food seemed asthough it sat on counter for who knows how long as our soft cooked eggs came back with hard yolks and soggy hash brown. Whenasked if we could get this fixed we were ignored. When asked her to speak to manager we were ignored. She walked away duringboth questions. We won?t be back. The waitress wasn't terrible, she was friendly and kind but she seemed a little put off when I complained about my bacon not... being crispy after I specifically asked for crispy bacon. So they cooked it to the point it was burnt and you could litterallycrumble it in your hand. The only thing that tasted good was the cubed hashbrowns but they lacked any flavouring. The eggs wereover cooked and your given 1 jam and 1 peanut butter for your toast. I took a before picture but forgot to take an after pictureof the bacon. Read more
Our waitress was awesome but they were clearly understaffed, my daughter LITERALLY had 15 fries with her meal, the salsa with my... nachos came in a cup the size of a thimble and when I asked for more the waitress told us she?ll get in trouble if she gives mea cup bigger.. the owners here and clearly trying to cut costs and the Smittys name is suffering for it. I should have read the reviews. The owner /operator/ GM should take a hard look at their operations! There is a common theme of... undercooked & cold food coming out of the kitchen , which they should know help in the spread of contamination and salmonella. Responding the way you have been with people concerns shows some serious complacency and unprofessionalism. Your guest needbetter and deserve better! If your under staffed, redesign the menu to facilitate menu items that can be made efficiently andsafely. Read more
This place is brutal. I order a meal for my family for a special occasion through skip the dishes and the bag was missing a meal... for my kid. After calling the restaurant the manager Sharon was useless and could offer no help at all. As a restaurant your jobis to offer customer service. When you make a mistake you need to own up to it and make amends. Instead she just past the buckinto skip the dishes and gave me nothing but attitude. Oh and the food was over cooked and gross. Just came out of the Smitty's restaurant in spruce grove. Ordered the onion ring share platter for 9.99 there were only 10 rings... on the plate. When I asked for a manager I was sidelined and we were refused any service after our complaint about the size. When we asked for a manager there wasn't one. When i asked for the name of our waitress, she lied to me about what her nameis. Brittney the other waitress who was also very rude, kept saying how she didn't do anything wrong, and we were swearing at her. Didn't get the fries we ordered, got ripped off on the onion rings, we also got judged and lied to. And to the automaticcanned responses that smitty puts on these comments don't bother you obviously don't care or the one star reviews wouldn'tbe so prevalent. Read more
Food was decent but it took 20 minutes to get someone to take our drink order and 15 more to get a couple coffees and waters.... Ended up taking over 2 hours just to eat breakfast. I think the waitress came by twice the entire time and I had to flag downpeople to get refills, napkins, cutlery and even jam for the toast. Definitely won't be back... Read more
The decor is old. The dining area is dirty. The floors were dirty as were the walls and ceiling. Look up if you go here. ... It's gross. The table wasn't clean yet we were sat there anyway. It's just not a restaurant I'll rush back to. Read more
