I could not be more disappointed. Tried to get a table for a party of 22. I knew this location did not take reservations but I... had called ahead and was told that if I arrived 30-60mins earlier than we would most likely be accommodated. Unfortunately, wewalk in (ahead of time) and ask for a table for our group. We let them know that it is for 5pm so they are not caught off guard.They agree and set up the table as the restaurant was not busy at that time. As myself and my mom are about to sit, the managerasks us when our group will arrive and I say 5pm. She then says, “she cannot save the table for that long.” Not only was herdemeanour dismissive, but mocked me when I said that the man on the phone said we should arrive 30-60 minutes earlier to ensureample time to wait. Suffice to say, I was extremely unimpressed and said we will go elsewhere. I give one star because I lovedEast Side Mario’s, their food, and atmosphere, but I cannot fathom how a manager would decline a large group of mostly adultsin the hopes that she would “be able to fill the tables in the mean time. The manager’s lack of hospitality was atrocious,yet her hostess was far more professional and tried to accommodate us. Please do better in the future. Read more

Cant say ENOUGH about how perfect everything was here. I called to order take out to celebrate my sons Employee of the... month..supper... Its been forever since we even seen An East Side Marios.. YOU did not dissapoint! AMAZING FOOD.. the CHEESECAKE.. Omg... Service 100% efficiency 100% Food 100% nothing forgot in the bag.. portions 100% Well worth the drive and themoney.. Thankyou! We've been coming here for years and it was good to be back! ESM has the same format as Olive Garden with your main dish... including unlimited soup or salad and bread. The bread is always delicious and super warm which is nice. They're definitelytrying to save a bit by giving you one bread at a time despite being 2 at the table. To save some time just ask for a few whenordering. We both had the Italian wedding soup which was delicious. For the mains we had the pepper and sausage penne which isactually spicy which is great. The sauce tasted really good and the portion was quite big. The other main we had was the tilapiawhich was ok. It was dry but the sauce that came with it was good. Wouldn't order that again but overall it was good. The onlydownside with ESM is the service can be quite slow. Went to East Side Mario’s last night for dinner. We sat on the patio which was a very nice atmosphere! Our server Layla was... extremely friendly, funny and made our experience amazing! She gave great food recommendations and made sure our food came outhot, she also made sure to pay attention to my gluten allergy! I will definitely be back because of her great service! Read more
We ate so much and my wife ate her words- she was skeptical and hadn’t been to ESM in many years but was very impressed. The... pasta was great, the lasagna was awesome, the drinks were tasty and the all-you-can-eat bread/salad/soup was good too. You’llleave full for a decent price! Read more
I've been to East side mario's in Saskatoon a couple of times it was not good here. we ended up with a gift card that we'd never... thought we'd use because it closed down here. We ended up finding an East side Mario's near Edmonton when we went up there for avisit. We ate there and we were so surprised and the difference of the quality of the food and the amount of food. It's hard tobelieve that a change can be that much different from city to city but it was a large difference. I like to thank the staff andthe cooks for changing our mind about eating at Eastside Marios. When we return to Edmonton we will be returning to yourrestaurant. Read more
This is our first choice for a restaurant in St. Albert! Salads, pasta, soup, pizza and dessert are all excellent. A shout out... to our server Tarin who was friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. Highly recommend ???? Read more
