Ordered the haddock today. It was delicious as usual however their new tartar sauce was not good. Very disappointed.
Used to love the homemade coleslaw but they are now using pre-packaged everything...scallops were the size of a nickel...

Was our favourite place, but the halibut has shrunk and shrunk and shrunk. Should be bigger than a credit card...total rip off.... The two piece is now what you used to get in a one piece. Also, the texture of the halibut wasn't right...usually it's a nicefirm texture, but this was soft and mushy. I don't think they're using a proper filet anymore? And there was grease drippingout. Great fish and chips place. We ordered through door dash and it came within 30 minutes. Unfortunately the pollock and poutine... was missing from the order. We called the restaurant to let them know. They offered to make it for us and we went to pick it upsince it would be faster, wasn?t far from the hotel and we wanted to eat together as a family. The restaurant was veryapologetic for the error and even threw in an extra fish and extra bacon bits on the poutine. That was so nice of them to dothat. We ordered: 1. seafood platter with haddock, scallops, shrimp, tarter sauce and onion rings 2. Calamari strip dinner 3.Mozzarella sticks 4. Jalapeño shrimp with jalapeño dip 5. Pollock with a side of poutine Everything was delicious we forgotto take pictures until after we started eating several of the dishes so there are only a few pics. The batter is light andflakey, not too oily and the fish is a good size. The jalapeño shrimp is really good especially with the jalapeño dip. It?sonly mildly spicy so even if you can?t take much spice it would still be ok. Scallops and shrimp are a good size in the seafoodplatter. Everything came nicely wrapped and labeled. We heard so many wonderful reviews on Giant FM so we had to try it, obviously!!! The service, amazing, they have the sweetest... server. The food was delicious, big portions of fish, delicious homemade tartar sauce, crispy fries and the most delicious Coleslaw. If you haven't tried, go now, it's well worth the drive!!!
