I ordered a custom large photo cake for my husband?s 60th Birthday party from this store . When I went to pick it up I was very... disappointed with the quality of the photo that was reproduced on the cake. The photo provided had a blue sky background. It wasreproduced in Pink. This is not the quality I expected for a $63 custom cake. Of course by the time I picked it up, nothingcould be done to fix this error. The lady who was working at the time, offered her apologies and asked if she could provideadditional product to make situation better. Even though the cake tasted fine, it was not worth the additional cost to include aphoto for this special occasion. I would hesitate to recommend others for purchasing such a cake from Marble Slab for any oftheir special occasions. I wrote the manager of this store about the disappointing custom cake, and at this point in time, Ihad not received a response from my email. This indicates this store can?t provide decent customer service. One would think anapology would be offered with either a complimentary cake or a gift card. Not impressed. Read more

honestly if I could write zero stars I most definitely would, terrible company/ owners to work for. if there was a disagreement... with other workers they don't care to actually listen. they do payment by E transfer and you have to beg for a paystub. alsomind you the payment constantly is late, so at 10 PM on a Friday you finally get paid. we also don't get any of the tips. theyget split at the end of the month but by the time it's ready to be split it's already a month and a half later. if I would worka 10 hour shift I'd get the same amount of tips as someone who did nothing on a three hour shift. Ice cream was awesome but service was poor. 2 different people served in last 2 days and both of them were rude. When my ice... cream didn?t look the way it was in the picture I asked her why it looks different. She asked me back what do you mean? Well Imeant it looks different. This was today?s server, who wears glasses. I like their ice cream but would like to try otherlocations even if they are far. Seems like they got bad reviews on their servers before and don?t care. Ordered a chocolate peanut butter cup cake for father's day and it was very tasty. The cake decoration was good, except for the... poorly written sign that should have been replaced.
