We were in town for a wedding and found this gem near our hotel, where everything else seemed like a chain off a freeway.... Don’t let the fading strip mall fool you - this place did a fantastic job inside - simple, but inviting. The food wasdelicious. The salmon Benedict was one of the best ones I’ve ever had and service was laid back. Read more

Great brunch. We each had a different poached egg dish and they were all fantastic.

Went for breakfast on a Friday and it was empty. The menu had several compelling innovative options, it was easily the most... excited I’ve been about reading a menu in a long long time. There were still plenty of familiar options for ournot-always-adventurous teen and tween. The food was fantastic and the service was great. Read more

A perfectly poached egg - perhaps the best I've ever had. The crab Benny was carefully balanced, with neither too much crab not... too little hollandaise. The restaurant was very clean, and felt cozy yet bright. Service was welcoming. We'll be returning, withfriends. This is a gem. Read more

We love the Yellow Pear! Not only are they are great spot to eat, but they also do incredible catering. We had them cater our... small wedding (25 people), and the food was out of this world! The attention to detail was second to none, and they worked withus every step of the way to make sure we had the menu we wanted. Every single guest commented on how amazing the food was. Jayand Nicole are two of the best people, and have poured their hearts into this restaurant - and it shows....big time! Read more

Great food, but the service will make you feel like you're a burden. I tried the Pork Belly Benny and Barbacoa Skillet, with a... slight preference for the latter as the Benny was a tad too sweet from the cornbread. Both dishes were interesting andinventive, though. Unfortunately, the server wasn't great. She felt very cold throughout. She handed me a water with a speck ofwhat seemed to be fibres from a sponge (see pic) - no big deal but rather than act on my request for a new water, she took hertime, even making a couple trips to neighbouring tables to clean them. And after asking for a box to pack our extra food, sheliterally just walked away without saying anything - at least she ended up bringing a box, I guess? Read more

UNBELIEVABLE! And FANTASTIC! For some reason this week I was on a Canadian binge...yesterday I realized I missed National... Caesar Day (thanks Cowtown!) a few weeks back so I fixed that...responsibly of course. Today I was pining for a good salmondinner...and a legit vodka paralyzer (thanks Winterpeg!). Who knew you'd find such treasures out here in Niagara winecountry? After getting a righteous paralyzer I ordered Yellow Pear's pierogi gnocchi... this appi is a game changer (GoFlames!) ... WOW! This is one of the best starters on the planet. Hats (cowboy) off to the chef...excellent, and easy toshare. I then moved on to the baked salmon. Breathtaking. I am still trying to decipher the spices because it was so good andso unique. BRAVO! And the pan fried brussels sprouts were awesome. This entire dinner was a tour du force of excellence. Thereshould be lineups in front of Yellow Pear, I'm heading back. Read more

Hands down, the best, most creative and consistent restaurant in all of Niagara. I’ve eaten here almost every weekend since I... first tried them, and cannot get enough. Always thinking of the most amazing food combos. Try EVERYTHING, don’t shy away froma single menu item. Never a miss. Go for the true yellow pear experience and let them guide your pallet through pure ecstasy.Shout out to the owner and the chef, the two of them combined make a RIDICULOUS menu. Ever changing menu and spectacular. Iwould list my favourite menu items but you might as well just read it. Read more
