Decided to have lunch here for the first time, for a little birthday celebration am I ever glad that we stopped in for food and... drinks. We had the best service today! We had two servers and both were attentive and super sweet. The food was really good too. We had... the schnitzel and the block5 salad. It was really hot out but having the picnic tables up under the trees is lovely. I highlyrecommend a winter visit too when they have the bubbles outside that you can eat in! So pretty in the snow. Maybe the nicest patio in Watetloo Region located on the main street of St Jacobs. Good food and drink. A great place to cycle... to from Kitchener Waterloo. Lots to try on the menu. We had fish tacos ???? which were delicious. Highly recommend this place Read more
I was here with my friends on Thursday for my birthday. I loved the dome aesthetic. The food was good as well. I had the chicken... curry and it was surprisingly pleasant. They had a lovely selection of drinks. The dome seats 8 people and it was heated. Thatwas my only concern for my guests. You do need to book the domes ahead but I believe they will soon be out of season as winteris ending. Our server was also a really sweet guy. Read more
We were very impressed with this restaurant! We got to eat outside in heated tents, and even at -12° we were still warm enough,... though I would recommend a few extra layers so you are extra comfortable. The atmosphere inside of the tents is very nice, andthe beer is from Block three which I was told is absolutely delicious! There was quite a wide variety of beer as well. The foodwas really tasty, and the quality was exceptional, we expected simple bar food but we were blown away by the menu. I highlyrecommend this place as a restaurant as well as a good place to catch up with friends and family, It is much more than just aplace for a quick beer, but I?m sure you could do that as well.. Really great pub food. We had the charcuterie board and nachos to start and then the fish tacos, the jerk chicken and... schnitzel. And beer of course! Domes are fun to hang out in and eat with friends. They each have a propane heater but comedressed warmly in layers just the same! Read more
Fantastic and reasonably priced food. The service is excellent, and the location is beautiful. This place has my heart. I love... their Block 3 beers on tap and the falafel burger. The domes and the fairy lights are perfect for A date night. I prefer thepatio seating, weather permitting. Read more
