Bridie Molloy's is an old pub with beautiful woodwork on the inside. I had French onion soup which was superb. The kitchen was a... little slow in producing the food, but it was worth the wait. Read more

Amazing service and a great atmosphere for first time travellers to Newfoundland! Our server was Amber and she was a delight -... went above and beyond for us to have a great experience dining there. Would 10/10 recommend ? and don?t forget to order the codtongues while you?re there! Read more

My husband and I came here our first night in St. John?s on our honeymoon. The building is beautiful, has a lot of character; as... soon as my husband saw it we *had* to come in for drinks (we?d already had dinner up the street). I don?t know if the staff weremaybe having a bad night or something (came around 6 PM Labour Day Monday), but we were truly made to feel as though ourbusiness wasn?t wanted. We were asked if we wanted menus, we didn?t know these would only be for food (not drinks / cocktails).I apologized and clarified that we just wanted drinks when the server came back + asked for a drink menu instead, she scoffed atme and said that wasn?t available. My husband then asked about a craft beer on tap, to which the sever responded ?it?s a beer.?We ended up eventually coming up with a drink each to order, she got them, then shortly came back and told us what we owed her. We?d barely taken a few sips. I am sure based on other reviews that experiences like ours aren?t commonplace here (and I?m sureit?s an amazing space when there?s a band / etc.), but this experience put a real damper on our evening. Great food! Loved the fish and chips. Great live music! Friendly staff...but could have been a bit quicker and more frequent... with drink orders. Still a great atmosphere and would definitely go back! Read more

GOOD EATS Bridie Molloy's offers the classic Irish Pub experience. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt and... efficient. I was hoping for Cod Fish Cheeks (a St John's specialty), but had to settle for Cod Tongues - very well cooked anddelicious. The house salad was fresh, crisp and generous. They have a nice collection of tap and bottle beers. The onlynegative was the somewhat small portion of the Cod. Read more

We came to this restaurant on the historic George Street to hear live music and eat fish and chips. They delivered! The fish and... chips were tasty, a good portion size. The appitizer I ordered (fish cakes) were more potato mash than fish and could have usedmore seasoning. Also, the wait for food was too long. We waited well over 45 minutes in an empty restaurant. Overall, themusician and food was good so I would recommend Read more

The singer was amazing, pasta not so much, the food took a lot of time to come out (I understand delays due to peak hours) THE... ONE UNFORGIVABLE THING IS the waitress BEING racist to me and my wife as we were the only brown couple in the bar. Never goingback again. Ps. We still tipped the person for their service Not gonna recommend to others Read more
