Not great at all. I am a St. Louis native visiting where I hoped to get some good chinese food. Though the restaurant was clean,... place was inviting and prices are good, the food was awful. An order of crab rangoon and plain fried rice with bean sprouts wentto the trash! Not sure how one can go wrong with these basic menu items. Maybe I misjudge since this is a "gourmet" chineserestaurant (named Asia Gourmet); nevertheless, my taste buds were dissatisfied. I guess I am more familiar with the "hood"restaurants. Read more

The restaurant was clean and inviting. Service was friendly yet slow. I was not impressed with the food. The General Tso's... Chicken had good flavor but was too hard...and by hard I mean too crispy! I hurt my gums trying to eat it! The Potstickers werebland. I've passed by this place several times, and always wanted to give it a try. Now I wish I would have kept going. I do NOTrecommend! I was going to capture a picture of my food but I always eat it before I remember, which I?m taking a good sign :) The food... always taste fresh, crispy, and just the right amount of sauce. I personally always hate when the chicken is drenched in sauceto the point of being soggy, so this place nailing it on the balance is amazing. Good portion size too. Read more

My friend wanted to dine in but they start closing process early. Great food. Worth the take out. Try the daily specials.

Keep in mind. When you order the sesame chicken you ordered fried flour balls. With no checkin in it.

Asia Gourmet has fed my family many meals at a decent price. I am thankful that Downtown St. Louis keeps this store in business.... The food here is great and it is priced at a good price. More importantly, the taste of the food is really good. Read more

Lovely family owned Chinese restaurant. I got there close to closing time so wasn't able to eat in, so ordered to go instead and... took the food back to the hotel. I ordered the seafood delight with white rice. The sauce was flavorful and the ingredientstasted very fresh. Lady behind the counter was very nice. Even though it was a few minutes to close there were about 5 othercustomers in there. Would like to try their szechuan specials next time I'm in town. Read more

Sadly I have to say these things about this restaurant because the exterior and interior is very inviting, comfortable, clean... and I found the server to be a nice lady. Unfortunately the food was absolutely horrible. I tried to Hunan chicken my colleaguetried the fried chicken rice and the food quality was poor and without rememberable flavor. Avoid this location downtown unlessyou absolutely do not mind to be disappointed. For the price it is not acceptable. Read more
