Ate here tonight for dinner and had an awesome waitress. I?ve had fried fish so many other places, but I didn?t like the taste... here. I thought it was plastic tasting and couldn?t eat it. Kelsey switched out my food for me with no problems and was sopolite about it. I felt so bad for having to return my food because I?ve never done it before. Kelsey was amazing and was sonice about the whole thing. I ended up getting a burger instead, which was great tasting. Otherwise, this place has a coolatmosphere. Excellent, friendly staff, clean, eating establishment with pine booths, reminiscent of days gone by. Had breaded mushrooms are... the ABSOLUTE best I've ever eaten!! Hubby's sirloin sandwich was huge, had tender sliced beef, cooked to perfection! BBQsandwich was with a dry rub and sweet smoky sauce on the side. I personally don't prefer dry rubs and the sauce tasted a littletoo vinegar-y for my taste. Service was the ultimate!! Thank you, Kim, for such great service to every detail. Arrived to a very busy atmosphere and we were quickly greated and seated. Our server was very friendly and attentive with our... order for drinks and appetizers. The fried mushrooms and pork tenderloin bites(sauce is the best) were out of this world good.Two of us had the ribs and one had the brisket and the meat was absolutely amazing, the sides of beans, cheesy potatoes,coleslaw, and sweet potatoe fries were spectacular as we all shared. The server kept up with our drinks and we all left full.Best bbq we have had in quite sometime, cannot wait to get back. The salad was sub par at best. Big chunks of lettuce that shouldn't be. The chicken was cubed and tough and couldn't find the... bacon. The buffalo wings were hard fried like left from the day before. I've been here several times and was not disappointed,but yesterday ????. What I salvaged wasn't enough for a side salad. Read more
Went for dinner with the family tonight on a Friday. They said 45 minutes but were seated within 10. Fried mushrooms for the... appetizer were underwhelming as I felt the breading was too thick and chewy. For the main course we got the Lemay wings, theribs, and a couple burgers. The wings were absolutely delicious with the honey mustard buffalo sauce, the ribs were competitionlevel fall off the bone amazing, and the burgers were better than most, cooked perfectly very flavorful and BIG.
