I attended brunch here recently and it was just okay. The food was fine, definitely made in the sort of style they could make a... lot in a batch. Drink were fine but nothing to make them special. What disappointed me was the lack of up keep with the weedsthrough the patio, the fact that it's all outside in a tent or tables on former parking lot that doesn't match the look of feelof the windmill. There is nothing inside, years ago when I came here it was wonderful to eat inside, with German inspired food.Now it's a bit lack luster and there are better brunch locations. Read more
The music was great. Food was good. Cost was a little high for what we got. Chicken and waffles was good. Needed a small side of... fruit. Slinger seem kinda small for the price. Needed toast or something. Read more

The architecture is absolutely amazing! It makes one feel like you could be walking around Bavaria in Germany. The beautiful... architecture is on the outside and the inside. Now, having said that, that's where the good review stops - period. We arrivedbefore 5p on a Saturday night and the staff and establishment was simply not ready to operate and visibly in chaos. As wereferenced the website, to double check what we were getting into, it was not clear if it was a restaurant, bar or rental venue. Therefore, upon asking the staff minutes after opening what it was we were told it was a restaurant with no table service;translation, a bar where you can order food. With the amazing German architecture one would think they would play German beergarden music, nope, they played modern music - it was an atmosphere killer. Also when other guests had walked in and asked fora menu the staff (of one person) literally couldn't locate it and this was about 10 minutes after opening. It was very clearthe establishment was not ready for a Saturday night (and they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday). When a guest has tonearly beg for a menu it greatly reduces ones faith in the ability of those running and operating the establishment to live upto anything they advertise. You are encouraged to visit this place for photographs on the outside and inside otherwise spendyour money elsewhere, their chaotic business operation is not worthy of your money. Read more
Amazing history and stunning architecture in a old beer hall. Sausage supper platter comes with a free beer when in special for... $18. Spicy sausage was great, beer cheese is memorable. Ambiance is a 10, staff was friendly and helpful. Fried Sauerkrautballs sounded like a bad idea but ended up being my favorite thing of the night. Gave it a 4 out of 5 due to the pricing, itseems just a tad high but then again it feels good supporting a local institution. Read more

We had our wedding reception at Das Bevo over the weekend, and it was amazing! We had tons of compliments on how beautiful and... unique the venue was. The bartenders and all of the staff were extremely kind. Cassidy was an amazing coordinator! She alwaysresponded promptly and made sure that everything ran super smoothly on the day of. The staff even went above and beyond to scourthe entire venue and find a lost phone the next day. Read more
