My fried rice had absolutely NO SEASONINGS or flavor whatsoever. It was dark, but no flavor. There were only a small amount of... onion and egg in the plain fried rice. Soy sauce or sweet and sour didn't even flavor it enough. The St. Paul was delicious.They charge $1 to use your debit card. The food was hot...just flavorless. Very unusual for Chinese food . I have been going to Ferguson chop suey since 2016. So happy to have discovered them... The place I used to go to downtown on... Olive across the street from the dental office suddenly shift down with no notice. So I was on a search for a new restaurantthat has food which was equivalent to where I used to go. My favorite is the vegetable fried rice and shrimp egg foo young. Thecrab rangoon is also delicious. Always good customer service! Surprisingly the owner knows most of his clients. Read more
Pretty decent rice and St. Paul! Not to friendly, but not rude just average.
Today I had the worst special egg fu young I have ever had and I have eaten Chinese food for more than 50 years. The rice was... mushy like instant rice and the gravy had no flavor. The patties had huge chunks of chicken and not much else. This was not myfirst visit to this location but it could be my last. I have lived in the neighborhood for 40 years and have frequently gone tothis restaurant. Never have I had such bad food! Read more

My second best rice house in the mid west, of course E.St.Louis is still #1.
It was awesome. First time eating in there. The owner really cool too.
