I first called to order for pickup and was told I had to give a card. Well, the Firehouse Sub on Hanley will take phone orders... without a cards! So i waited 10 minutes for my 1 sandwich to be made. No one else was in there at this time. Nor did I see themmaking any other sandwiches. What was the wait about? I waited to get my order before I asked about the phoning in order thing.Then, I inquired about the crunchies that used to come with the Mac and Cheese only to find out they don't have any longer.Well, I probably wouldn't have written a review had the one girl turned her back while I was asking questions, as if I wasgetting on her nerves. Overall a poor experience with one of my favorite sandwich chains! I will stick with the Hanley locationeven if I'm not in that area. Oh I gave 2 stars because I know the sandwich will be good but the poor service did that!!! Read more
Food is great and the service is good but could use some improvement.

Waited 25 minutes for 2 medium subs. There was 3 people on the line yet the younger guy with dreads was the only one making the... sandwiches & working the register. They also forgot to add ranch & barbecue sauce on my sandwiches but I don?t fault him becausehe did have multiple orders to do by himself. The brisket was also sliced very thick & was very fatty. What a nice surprise! I ordered the "Engineer" sub and the size and thickness is certainly worth the price. It comes in a sturdy... cardboard box that keeps the sandwich intact. Good stuff!! Read more
We were very pleased with our experience at this Firehouse Subs. The staff greeted us when we entered and took our order. It was... a bit slow even though there was only one other customer but we were in no hurry. The restrooms were very clean along with thetables. We would visit again but we were just visiting St. Louis. Read more
Sandwich was good The cashier/ food prep person, she was not a friendly person at all ,lips poked out, bad attitude, no smile,... no greeting, no please or thank you,also this goes for the men as well. The restaurant was not all that clean. I know good helpis hard to come by these days, but what the hell, at least they should be trained to be nice to the customers. It doesn't takemuch. Read more
