Honestly, reading the other reviews I thought this was going to be a fantastic experience, however I was way off. The evening... began by the hostess not even greeting us (this was for a 70th birthday party so we had a group of 10). The manager just sohappened to be walking by and he greeted us. We were seated and ordered drinks. Some of the drinks we ordered they couldn't makebecause the were "out of pineapple juice" which could have been remedied by going to Dierbergs or something. We then orderedsome strawberry daiquiri's, but they tasted horrible so they were sent back, and we settled on iced tea. The waitress neverintroduced herself, let us know of any specials, or explained anything on the menu so we were kind of figuring it out as wewent. We ordered the 3 course surf and turf. I had the filet (which was mediocre at best), my lobster was under cooked, and mywife's was over cooked, and the flemmings potatoes (which also was mediocre). It did come with a desert. So as the mealprogressed our desert was brought out to us, however there were others at our table that didn't get the 3 course meal, nor wereasked if they wanted desert, or coffee. Needless to say we could have gone to one of the popular chain steak houses and receivedbetter service, had better tasting food, and spent less than half the price. Read more

I’ve been to many steakhouses in the past and this was my first time at Flemings steakhouse in Frontenac Missouri. Let me just... say that the atmosphere and the vibe was quite elegant. I didn’t bring my appetite but I had every intention of enjoying mybirthday dinner. Flemings did not disappoint! I had the chili and Seabass which was absolutely wonderful along with a veryunique site order of onion rings. I was handed a gift box of decadent chocolate and it was quite delicious! I was disappointedthat they didn’t know how to make a vesper martini also called the James Bond martini but the lemon drop martini was afantastic alternate! The meal was very good, but I just didn’t have the room to finish everything. We were in our way to seea show and I didn’t want to be overly stuffed! I took my mom to eat and celebrate her for a birthday. We truly enjoyed the ambiance, service, most of all the food. Our server... Andrew was very attentive and professional, as well as the other staff that jumped in and helped remove items from the table,provide refills on drinks, or whatever was needed. Omg this is the true definition of fine dining. The service and employees are great and the food is great. They make you feel... special for you bday. It was my bday dinner on tomahawk tuesday and omg that steak was in point. Tender juicy seasoned well anda light crisp. So fire. A must try! Read more

I have been to Fleming’s a few times and it is always a great experience. I recently went here for my birthday and it was... incredible! The server was knowledgeable, attentive and the food was wonderful. Their chocolate gooey butter cake is quitepossibly the best dessert I have ever had. I’m serious. I would come back just for that! Our table was decorated when wearrived and even had a birthday card signed by the staff, which I thought was an incredibly sweet personal touch. I really enjoyed it! Nice atmosphere, good food and good service! I wanted my filet cooked medium and it was more medium well so... I can't give the full 5 stars. The potatoes also could've used some salt. They were lacking flavor, for me. Overall good and Iwould definitely go back. Read more

The service was impeccable. The menu was full of well crafted dishes. I highly recommend the sweet chili calamari! My spouse and... I ordered the filet Mignon. We weren't entirely impressed with it. While it was cooked exactly as requested, the meat itselfseemed flavorless. Afterwards we decided we should have gotten a different cut of steak. Very good experience. A Nice birthday card was on the table for my wife and signed by the staff. The waitress and service staff... was very good. Ask for the half size sides so you can try more. We did filets, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, and mash potatoes.Definitely get the hot chili calamari as an app. Read more
