We started down on The Hill for dinner, but wanted to walk afterwards and decided to take the five minute walk to get here from... Ragazzis. First, awesome gelato, I had the amaretto in a small come, fantastic. The youngest girls had strawberry, Dad withlemon and peanut butter, lemon is so good!! Idk what the other kids had, but there were no complaints. Straight out the backdoor to a patio with seating and a court with a beautiful marble fountain and chess tables. Positively perfect modern Italiana gelato and espresso cafe! Friendly help and full espresso offerings, including affogato and... cortado and the most delicious dry-foam cappuccino! The counter offers biscotti and cannoli while the freezer has mounds offresh gelato. Clean sitting area inside and out on a terrace that flows into the piazza next door with fountain. I?ve loved this place since it opened! One of the things I miss about living on The Hill is the ability to walk here for a sweet... treat! Now, I have to drive 30-40 minutes, but I still come back. I brought my family here over the weekend, and we had a lovelyvisit. My little one had never been before thanks to the pandemic, but now Gelato Di Riso has another fan. I usually go forchocolate, but this time, I got peach and strawberry?YUM!! Definitely come get yourself some delicious gelato. How did I not know about this place until today? Great Gelato and its in the middle of "the Hill"! Very appropriate for the... neighborhood and this place is living up to expectations. Looking forward to making this a frequent stop for us. In Saint Louis,there aren't many good options for quality ice cream, but Gelato Di Riso, Jenni's, and Clementine's give me hope.
