Stopped in for late lunch. Upon walking in we got greeted by the cutest "employee" Georgie the frenchie. We are from out of town... and the waitress put the TV on our football game while we were there. The best group of people. We had fantastic service fromeveryone there, the food was great. Bang-for-your-buck, this place is amazing. Very inexpensive and great food/cold drinks. My wife said, "This is the best... shepherds pie I've EVER had!" The owner/bartender/cook, came over to us and talked for a bit. Very friendly guy. Highlyrecommend the Irish Corner Pub! Read more
I just moved here from Florida. Saw this place and assumed they had chicken strips and I was correct. Sat down, ate some chicken... strips and a drink and I was absolutely amazed. My first time there was amazing because everyone is so friendly there. I refusedto believe this would happen two days in a row. I went back and ordered some chicken strips AND LET ME TELL YA! Secondexperience was as good as the first one. Met new people, had good chicken strips. Now I?m going home to take a nap. My mom and I visited because of the five-star rating, but I don?t know how it got that. The service was slow even though we... were two of ten people in the bar. The pub atmosphere is ok, but the fish in my fish and chips was chewy. Four bites was all Icould muster and I was done. The batter was fine and the fries were fine, but I was quite disappointed with that fish. My momhad a grilled cheese sandwich, which I also tried, and it was ok, but literally just American single slice and some white cheeseI couldn?t make out. The bread was good. Cozy Irish pub with Guiness (what else do you need to serve?) and other beers, plus the expected pub fare. I've been several... times and it's always been pretty good. Seems to be really popular with the neighborhood regulars. Read more
