We ate here with my husband's co-workers. The group was large so we were in the downstairs dining area which is decorated in... naval decor. While we waited for everyone to arrive our waiter Maz took our drink orders. Maz selected a bottle of 2017 JordanCabernet for my husband and I. It was very delicious! Once we sat at our table there were lovely appetizers ready for us toeat. The shrimp cocktail and bacon-wrapped scallops were fantastic! I ordered the ribeye and wedge salad. My husband orderedthe king size prime rib. Both steaks were very delicious. I'm not usually a big fan of prime rib but I tried several bites of myhusband's and it was great! The waiter had an assistant that helped refill waters and clear plates. He was very fast andattentive. Maz was very friendly, professional, informative, and had a great sense of humor. It was a great time! Read more

We went to Kreis' for our anniversary. Everything was outstanding. The service was attentive and super friendly. I had the prime... rib in my head after reading some reviews so I ordered the king cut. It was perfect and was so big that I got several othermeals out of it! My wife ordered the filet topped with grilled shrimp which was fabulous and a more normal size. Finished withcheesecake on the house. Read more

There are reasons that this place has been in business for 75 years. Impeccable service, thanks to our waiter, Matt. I'm sure I... wore him out with my silly mood but we were celebrating 27th anniversary and this was my second time to go to dinner in twoyears! Matt was super friendly, prompt, and he had excellent tips on entree and wine selections. Also thanks to Floyd, who keptthe water flowing and the table tidy, always with smiling eyes over his Covid appropriate mask. We asked for a table in the backroom, and really enjoyed the beautiful paintings, dark paneling, red accents and romantic ambience. The entire experience wasdelightful.. Photo of the complementary cheesecake for our anniversary, and a velvety filet mignon, surrounded by succulentgarlic shrimp. Now I'm getting hungry again. Read more

Flew into Spirit of St Louis airport and was looking for a quality steakhouse. Mission accomplished! Was lucky to come across... this gem. Big fan of Prime Rib and this one did not disappoint! Maybe one of the Best in the country, definitely top 3 I’veever had. Had the bone in King cut and it was prepared perfectly. Was accompanied with cream of spinach and zero complaintshere. The ribeye at the table was also a great choice. The atmosphere was great, nice dining room and a sweet little bar area. The service was top notch, tentative and professional. If you’re in the mood for a great steak, this place is a Must! Comeout and support your local businesses! Read more

Food was good, service was weird. There were a lot of people at the host station but with everyone standing aside, it was hard... to know who the host was speaking to, so that was awkward. The waiter was great, but the assistant somehow got couscous all overthe takeout box after packaging it for me. She brought me a bag after I asked for one (so the food wouldn't be all over the car)but then put the box in the bag and set the bag on the pile of couscous, which was only there because there was couscous allover the box to begin with. Other than those strange interactions, the filet mignon and scallops were great! Sides were decent. We also got the apple strudel, and a single shot espresso paired nicely. I wish there was more mozzarella in the caprese salad(the greens were near wilty too). The old fashioned was good, and the bread and butter were perfect temperatures and textures! Read more
