We were trying to go to the Tacos and Ice cream joint down the street…which says its open til 8 on google…we arrived at... about 6:45, parked, walked up and found out they were closed (luckily for us). Our disappointment turned into enthusiasm when wesaw La Vallesana basically across the street. When I say I have never had street tacos so flavorful, fresh, and filling. Plusour drinks have had us laughing for hours! My kids CLEANED their plates and we got homemade Ice cream to go that we’re toofull to eat. I can’t WAIT to go back! Read more
Had a great time! They had a nice dining area in the back of the restaurant and a cute open patio space as well. The strawberry... frozen margarita was delicious, as well as the pork tacos and rice. Will visit again! Read more
My partner and I wanted to celebrate our short trip to St. Louis with a night out and we stumbled upon this restaurant... unexpectedly. It was a welcome surprise! The customer service was so friendly and I felt like they really cared about thequality of the food they were putting out. Waiting in line took a bit longer than some may expect, but that was mostly due topeople coming in not wearing masks then having to be asked to put on a mask before they continued their order. We appreciatedthe employees’ efficiency getting our order put in and read back to us to make sure they heard us correctly. Super awesomepeople across the board. A great selection of proteins for your tacos and their rice is awesome. The flavor was outstanding oneverything we got and the portions were huge. We both also got the jumbo size house margarita and they were SO good. We ate theorange slice that came with it and stole a sip before we snapped a pic, sorry!!! Overall the pricing was fantastic for theflavor, quantity, and quality of what you’re getting. The employees even had some disrespectful customers in the time we werethere and they handled it smoothly and with so much grace. Tasty food, with great prices. I miss the good Ole prices. Didn't get the burrito but they looked good. They also have menudo,... which looked awesome. I would go back. The green and orange Salas were killer too so try those if you want some heat. Could bea little cleaner and service a tad better but covid service sucks all across the board so no major complaints. Wow!! I have found my people! Best authentic Mexican food I’ve found to date. Great place off of Cherokee street. We ordered... the fish tacos, a chicken (pollo)burrito, and some street beef tacos, and even some chicken tenders with fries for the children.Everyone was happy with their bellies full. Seriously, can’t wait to try more other items. Their guacamole was good too.Very happy with this place. Also, I would like to proudly State their containers are 100% biodegradable. This place is counter service, not table service. They have great outdoor seating and a fun bar (a little pricey on... margaritas) Food is pretty good too. Read more
