First time here: we went early, at 5:00 pm. We had the dining room to ourselves for most of the meal. Hubby ordered the ribeye... steak special, with white wine, prosciutto, and mushroom sauce. Delicious! My chicken risotto was ok, cubed chicken in arisotto sauce. It was a little overpowering with cheeses. And I'm a huge cheese lover! Tirimisu and Creme Brulee wereexquisite!!!! Great atmosphere, service was good. Prices seem reasonable. Food was mediocre unfortunately. Fettuccine lacked salt and the... sauce was bland. Seafood Rissotto was also bland and didn’t taste of seafood. Beef Medallions were excellent and tender witha nice mushroom Marsala sauce. When you visit STL, eating in The Hill area is a must and I highly recommend Lorenzo's Trattoria. The service was exceptional -... very attentive, helpful, & knowledgeable. My colleagues & I ordered 3 different dishes and we each were very satisfied. Iordered the steak medallions, they were cooked perfectly, the asparagus was tender, and the mashed potatoes were so flavorful. Read more
Will recommend to all my fellow Alpha-gal sufferers. I am allergic to all mammalian products. Can only consume foul/fish. ... Also allergic to shellfish. Staff went above and beyond. Checking that my meal would have no cross contamination and made mysauce for my chicken dish fresh. (I can eat dairy) and even checked on the bread that was served. Will return! Service wasexcellent and food delicious and plated well. Drinks/wine were very good and waitress helpful. So nice to have understandingstaff. Not complaining, realize this is a serious health issue and made dining out pleasant! Read more
