Best Raman in St. Louis. My wife is Japanese and I lived there for 4 years, so I know a tiny bit about the authenticity of... Japanese food and how it should taste and hands down this is the best Raman in St. Louis. It reminded us of Japan. Even theshrimp tempura was on point. The waitress was incredibly nice and had a lot of information about other places in the city tovisit. We have already been back and will continue to go back. I never knew Ramen was more than the college staple sold for 25 cents at the discount house. Well was I ever wrong this is so... good and I literally have driven the 70 miles just to go here and get Ramen. The sushi is great as well and that is why thefamily loves the place. Went for lunch on a cold day The ramen really warmed me up and left me satisfied The broth had a lot of flavor but it was not... too salty or fatty- which tend to happen in some ramen places, so that was nice. Sometimes when broth is overwhelming, I gettired of the flavor before finishing the bowl, which did not happen here The sushi - crazy 88-was ok I think I will def beback for some ramen and other dishes. Can?t help but feel that the sushi was lacking, due to the fish feeling not as fresh asthe sushi by the coasts which is expected here in the Midwest . Read more

First time eating here, luckily we were nearby and were standing outside before they opened because every table was full within... 10 minutes of them opening the doors. If that doesn?t scream ?the food here is awesome? I don?t know what does. The SpringRolls and the Crunchy Roll both shot to the top of our best ever list. Everything we ordered was amazing, but those two and thefall apart in your mouth pork belly in the Ramen were on another level. The wait staff and chefs were ultra busy but the servicewas still great and all the food was served promptly. The restaurant itself is cozy but the spacing of the tables and the highceiling gives you a secluded feel. Dress code is casual but the food is upscale, which is my favorite combo. Whole familyfriendly. For a restaurant with Sushi in the name, there is a wide variety of vegetarian, chicken/pork/beef, and cooked options.Highly recommended, we are already planning our next visit. My party and I arrived here for dinner shortly after they opened for the evening crowd. We were served quickly, and received our... food hot and delicious. This is truly the best ramen I?ve had! Absolutely savory, noodle-y, meaty, and the perfect comfortingdish for an autumn evening. And those jammy eggs were one of the tastiest things I have eaten? the flavor and texture wasimpeccable. My party and I also enjoyed the crab Rangoon for starters. The only downside would be that, as the dining area gotbusier, it became really difficult to get service to ask for anything or pay out the bill. We almost felt like we were forgottenfor a hot minute, everyone was running around and if they say anything to you, it was in passing while they were runningsomewhere. We finally received our bill and paid. Over all in spite of the poor crowd management, this was an over-the-topexperience as far as the food goes. Would definitely re-visit in the future. Read more
