Food was good but the taco shells get soft fast. Over 50 for 4 tacos, guac and queso and 2 drinks is kind of high for my budget... for 2 people. But we got flowers from a friendly homeless guy for any change we had, so that was sweet. Read more

Excellent place for a quick bite or a few drinks with friends. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I had the El Cuban Torta. ... It was a very well executed sandwich. Sweet salty spicy, was unique yet familiar. Ice tea was great. Overall experience left me qualmless ha Read more

I stopped in to grab a quick bite while checking out the Del Mar loop. A few friends from the area recommended trying Mission... Taco Joint while I was in town. I sat at the bar and ordered 2 tacos, salad, and fries. Service was friendly and prompt. Theservers and bar staff worked cohesively to take care of everyone and they seemed to have a good time doing it. The energy wasgood, the food tasted great, and it was super cheap. My tab was under $20 before tip and it was a ton of food. The food qualitywas good also. Would definitely recommend. Read more

Great place for drinks and tacos. We got the Zombie drink, lit on fire! Our server Drew was wonderful and very helpful and... charismatic! Drew even recommended the 'Front Side Grind', the current special taco, and it was incredible! All taco orders arefor one taco, but each one is great! Vegan options are also phenomenal, as my partner has testified. Read more

Sat outside with fast, friendly service. Good size, tasty tacos for the price. Delicious guacamole served with a lot of tortilla... chips. If you are in a hurry plan to go before the lunch crowd hits to get fast service. Read more

Tried to have lunch at 1 pm but was asked to wait about 20 minutes(control sales?). Actual waiting time was less than 10... minutes. It was not that busy inside. Got 3 popular tacos, one sandwich and one burrito. The el Cubano sandwich was the bestflavor. And the rest are OK. Serve was slow. Read more

The tacos were very tasty. I always have to get the salsa when I come to a Mission Taco, but I have to say I was disappointed in... the salsa at this location. The Soulard location is always on point with the salsas. Maybe it was just an off night. Thelocation is great if you want a bite to eat before seeing a show. The service was also excellent. The food was ok. I had 3 tacos, the duck, pork, and bacon ones. There was nothing on the menu to indicate the heat level and... while I love the heat, my parents who were with me had a hard time with it. The duck taco was mostly sweet and one tone. It hadno balance. Then the bacon was most balanced but the meat was tough. The waitress we had was super friendly but she seemed superrushed. We had to ask twice for straws. Those are the dissapointments. There was positives. The Mexican corn fritters were thebest things there. And the guacamole was delicious as well. The night ended on a disappointment however because thd churro theyserved tasted like nothing but oil. It had hardly any cinnamon and sugar on it and they left it up to the chocolate sauce tocarry the flavor. It did not. The whole experience was a let down. I ate hear after hearing a friend rave about this restaurantbut that was before Covid. Sadly I won't be going back here. Read more
