I've been to Nobu several times and everytime I was left completely satisfied. I'm been to many different sushi restaurants all... over STL county area and Nobu's is by far my favorite, the best place to go to get sushi. Everytime I've have sushi here thefish has been fresh, tastes amazing, and absolutely no fishy taste at all (I absolutely cannot stand even a little bit of fishysmell or taste and I've never had a problem here). The rice bowls and ramens are out of this world. The customer service isgreat as well, the employees are very happy and attentive, the chef is also really nice. Well worth the price and the mostauthentic Japanese food around. Read more

Arrived at a busy time and couldn't quite get anyone's attention, but it seems they noticed we were at the door and seated us in... order of arrival. The fish was perfect though for some reason one roll had mushy rice. The cooked entrees were excellent. Myhusband enjoyed his ramen very much. Read more

With a 4 star on Google Reviews, I thought this would be a good Japanese restaurant in St. Louis. I’m very, very disappointed!... I ordered a few maki rolls to share as an appetizer, and the rice was soggy and mushy. My niece would always eat unagi donburi, and she ate 1/3 of the bowl and gave up eating because she didn’t like the taste of it. I ordered their sake donburi, andordered the large with 16 slices of salmon - it came, and I feel like I got jipped. 16 slices of salmon for $35 equals to 16slices of salmon that was smaller than 1”x1” and it was paper thin. I would buy sushi grade salmon at home, and would beable to cut the fish like an actual sashimi slice. I’m speechless in the tiny slices of salmon sashimi for $35, and the menusaid salmon and roe, but when I asked the waitress where the roe was... she said it doesn’t come with it. It’s definitelydeceiving, and then after I told them it’s not what the menu said and that is another reason I ordered it - she gave me aspoon of salmon roe. I honestly cannot say it was fresh, unfortunately. There was an after taste in the salmon roe. I’ve neverexperienced such an issue at any other Japanese restaurants. My aunt ordered the fish of the day, which was a Cod and it was sosalty that she couldn’t even finish it. The only good thing about this was the fact that my nephew had a great tamago makithere. Overall, the price for sushi doesn’t equal to the quality and the amount that should be served. Read more
