If you’re ever in Lafayette square for weekend brunch or dinner I highly recommend this spot. Unique menu that always offers... comforting yet creative dishes. I frequent more for brunch but have been here with family in the evening or on a dinner date.Service is good, and if you’re lucky enough they do have live music every so often and the last time the band played 60s-70sie van Morrison, Neil young, Bob Dylan, etc. Read more

first time visiting. went for brunch & got the creole shrimp omelette. wasn’t impressed. the omelette is atop a bed of grits... (which you can’t see in the pic because there were barely any there). everything lacked flavor. they dumped seasoning on thetop of it but the inside was so bland. the shrimp inside were completely unseasoned. definitely don’t recommend this dish.wish it tasted as good as it looks. my friend got the same thing and they said it was also unseasoned. inside of restaurant isvery cute! the service wasn’t great. sat for a long time without getting checks until we asked for them Read more

Food was great. I had the salmon eggs Benedict. Mimosas were just okay. Atmosphere is beautiful. Live music on a Sunday Brunch... was a nice touch. Read more

Known for brunch, this boutique place is a fun to enjoy for any meals. Located in historic chic Lafayette square neighborhood it... is housed in old wire factory and one can see interestingly placed artifacts spread inside- old chandeliers, radios, motors etc.The food portion is great and the staff is superb. Our server Abbie was attentive & awesome!! They have free yoga, music andpatio is dog friendly. They have specials for everyday beside their regular menu. Great selection of beer, cocktails. Thespinach in Calamari will melt in your mouth….yummy!! Read more

Great food and great service. The Salmon Chowder and Baked Onion soups were fantastic. I also recommend the Old Fashioned... cocktail to get things started and I enjoyed the meatloaf for my main course. Unfortunately, I didn't have room to try the madein house cherry pie. Read more

Super Cute Intimate Spot!!! We did have a wait but that's to be expected on a nice Sunday. Service was on point, out waiter let... us know that were having staffing problems. We understood like the rest of the world is having the same. Food was tasty. Ididn't care much for the potatoes. Read more

Overhyped brunch place. The food is heavy and average. Nothing surprising. I ordered the shrimp omelette and it was okay (but... then again too heavy) my bf ordered the benedict eggs with beef and the meat wasn’t fresh. Service was fast and the ambiancewas nice (they had a live pianist). Read more

It was our first Saturday brunch here at SqWires. It's a super cute restaurant that has its own small little shop inside. The... food was pretty good and our waiter was knowledgeable and patient. Our party of 8 did not like their sausage at all. It seemslike its made in house, which is a nice thought, but the taste is off. But the pancakes, eggs, bacon, and French toast were good. They also make their own donuts as well. The kids at our table didn't like those either but the presentation was nice. I'ddefinitely try this restaurant again and order different dishes. Read more
