I recently started working in the area so I have eaten here a few times this summer. My food has been hot and freshly made each... time. Ms.Diane has worked the drive thru she is the best. You don't have to ask her for condiments or napkins, her voice isfriendly helpful and pleasant and she makes sure you good before driving off. With numerous other restaurant options aroundthis location I want to say it's her attitude that makes this my choice. Read more
Today was my 1st time in a very very long time that I had a great experience with steak and shake. The lady at the window was a... very polite the food came very quick And was hot and fresh. I was done with steak and shake but today's experience made me wantto come again and hopefully the experience is like this throughout the whole day and not just at the time I came Which waslunchtime by the way and service was fast food was hot and staff was very nice. Horrible service, rudest drive through employee we have ever encountered, nevertheless we treated her with extreme kindness.... Find people who can exhibit even a small amount of customer service, pay they more, charge me more, if it means dealing withpeople who don?t constantly respond to the question ? do you have Diet Coke ? with ? no, look at the menu? unbelievable. The food was good, the shake still being the reason to visit, but the setup made the visit seem so wrong. We were just two... people and we had to order from a kiosk, get our own drinks, and have our food prepared wonderfully but had to be picked up. Nocondiments on the table, no servers, practically self serve. Had it not been for the fact that I've waited so long to eat Steakn Shake, I would have given fewer stars. Read more
Never go there! Starve first. I ordered two number 11s and simply asked if we get the bun with garlic seasoning she gives us a... total and tells us to come around. This is at 130 in the morning. We arrive and the window and retrieve our items the buns areregular and fries are cold. I stated if you suggest or ask what we wanted on the burgers she said with an attitude they comewith what they come with if you want something else ask for it. I said the buns aren?t as we asked she left window a guy comeswith a bad haircut. To tell me what I paid for. I stated I asked for what I asked for she charged what she chose to and theirwas no guidance at the speaker to do other wise. Mind you it?s 130 in the am. I stop the conversation because I just want to payand leave. I offered to return the food and pay for what I wanted. He looked away grab the card and left the window. Came backwith the food and decided to lecture me on what they did right and what I should?ve done. Oh and that he is the owner of thatestablishment.He tells me to relax and continues. Had dinner at one of my all time favorites and let me just say it was quite a shock ???? I walked in and all the tables empty... with no servers to find. Instead you now order from a kiosk and they bring your food out on a tray to the counter. The cook toldme all because of the pandemic. This steak and shake is now like every other drive thru fast food joint. While I was sittingthere eating another guy walks in and then walked out after learning there are no servers. Sad. Look how technology is puttingpeople out of work not to mention what this pandemic has done. Read more
This is by far the worst steak and shake I?ve ever been to. It took almost over a minute before someone started taking my order.... When I got to the window they tried to charge me twice the amount (someone else?s order). I asked if there was a delay becausethe car ahead of me was told to pull forward. He said they?re bagging my food right now. I paid and he left the window. It took20 mins to get the meal. I rushed back to the hotel I was at only to have a completely wrong order with cold, oily fries. Icalled them back and they wanted me to come in to fix it at 10:35pm and were matter-of-factly rude about to too. We had not been to Steak n Shake in years!! This visit was so amazing ???????? ???? ordering from the kiosk and seating... ourselves was quick and easy. The food was fresh and the Shakes were delicious ???? ???? the environment was quite and cleanand the staff was friendly ???? Highly recommend ???? Read more
