Wow is all i can say! This place is such a gem. We were staying in an air bnb within walking distance and stopped. The air was... out when we visited (a rare occurrence I?m sure) but the service was still phenomenal. We tried the smoked wings, pulled porkand duck breast. All were very flavorful and high quality. The Shaved Duck in Tower Grove East has been a favorite for years. I brought a friend who has never eaten here before and he... was impressed. Their burnt ends are beyond! Service is great. I can honestly say I have never eaten anything here I haven?tliked. We are inside this trip because of the heat outside, but they do have picnic tables outside if you prefer eatingoutdoors. Recommended to me by a colleague and I'm glad I stopped. Cool atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating available I went... shortly after open on a Saturday and was able to get a table - bar seating is also available. FOOD: Brisket burger with baconand a side of mac. The burger was really good. I tried some of the sauces on a few bites... the burger doesn't need it butthey do compliment the flavors of the meat.
