I just finished eating from this location, I am not one to complain but the meal can only be described as below average and I... was greatly disappointed. As I started eating my two piece fish and chips I immediately noticed the fish to be more wet thanusual. I paid no mind but later on I should?ve. As I got to my last piece It was extremely disgusting. That fish was raw!! Itold the server if this looks edible and she said no and took it back. However since it was my last piece they didn?t give me adiscount or any sort of compensation for literally having a raw fish presented infront of me. The server however spoke in a wellmannered tone and was completely honest about the quality of the food. She was arguably the only delightful experience I hadwhile in that restaurant. Read more
Smitty's St Paul. It's consistent, the service is always good, and food is reasonable. I love the historic photos on the walls... inside the restaurant, and the attached bar (The Hideaway Lounge) is a great place too. It is Smitty's, so if you are lookingfor Michelin starred food, this isn't it. But it's decent. Overall it's a good place! Read more
I wish I could rate this resturaunt lower than 1 star. I came here and ordered eggs benedict, medium eggs. For $17 they brought... me a plate with a handful of hashbrowns and 2 nearly RAW eggs. When I asked for them to take it back and clear it from the bill,they refused and offered only to remake it. When the patrons I had arrived with finished eating, my meal arrived, only to findthat the eggs were now overcook and rock hard. Once again I returned the meal and asked for a refund. After a fight with themanager, and a half hour wait for the bill, my meal was PARTIALLY discounted. I had a similar issue the last time I came to thislocation 5 years ago. 10/10 would not reccomend. Skimpy on the food for the costs. I'm sure it was just the kitchen staff at that moment. Portions were not what were used to for... eating there. Chicken was tasty but dry and the poutine had more gravy than fries... We got the large but it seemed half thesize of normal. Read more
We recently had our staff party here. The staff were amazing, and the food was fabulous. I'm sorry I did not take pics of the... buffet we had. It was soooo good! We did some karaoke, played pool.....was a great night! If you are planning a staff party, oreven a get together.....this is a great place to do that. Plus if you have it here.....no dishes to do on your part! Read more
