One plus point is that the waiters are very friendly. But the Ambiente is not nice and the furniture is outdated. It is not very... clean. The toilets are a disaster. The food was not great. The pizza was not good and the scallops doesn?t seem fresh. They werebreaded and deep fried. Read more

Food is quick and before noon is nice and quiet being really easy to get a seat, order, enjoy the environment while chatting and... eating good food. Chicken sandwich is basic but done right having fries that taste so good especially when added into thesandwich, the BLT is a wee bit small so get that with a side dish, and the double burger is a honking piece you'll feel in thegut for hours to come being full of flavour and just amazing ingredients. I had their fish and scallop special. For a place by the water, I was expecting fresh and big scallops. I got tiny fried... Scallops in batter that you'd buy in groceries. Disappointing. Staff was friendly. Read more

Quiet for lunch but we had the fish haddock special and chicken crunch sandwich. A bit too hot for the patio. Service was... alright. Not really any dessert offerings. Food was good but I preferred the frozen fries over the fresh cut. Read more

Long wait, over two hours, rude server with no customer service finesse to handle complaint. Food good - won?t be back.

While staying at the incredible Yellownose House in nearby Walkerville, we decided to take a break from relaxing and explore the... surrounding communities and villages. After touring the quaint Isle Madame, we found ourselves in the well kept core of St.Peters, NS. Having driven through this community a few days before, we noticed a few restaurants that might have promise anddecided to take a break from cooking and sample some local cuisine. If you are looking for something more than the standardfare, I suggest you keep looking. There is nothing offered here over and above the standard diner/restaurant/pub fare.Hamburgers, fish and chips, hot turkey dinners... you know what I am talking about. They do, however, also have a pizzeria alsowhich provides some variety. The decor was ok. I go into places like this and feel there is so much that could be done toimprove the feel and experience that then translates into satisfaction, reputation and return customers. However, the place wasfull when we visited. So perhaps this is not a concern for the owners. As we visited during the Corona virus pandemic, allprotocols were being respected. Fewer tables, masks, hand sanitizer... we felt all the proper precautions were being taken. Wewould have loved to sit outside on their terrace but it was just a little too cold. I was surprised with the speed of service.Expect to wait a looooong time for your meal. Despite having half the tables, I suspect they did not have near enough cookstaff on. The wait staff had the added duty of disinfecting but this shouldn't have affected customer service. It took a longtime to receive menus, a long time to place the order, a long time to receive drinks. We arrived before 6:00pm and it was wellafter 7:00 before our meals were served. It was nice to see they did offer a couple of local craft beers. The food itself wasgood. When asked about the size of the salad appetizer, the server said it was rather small. So we ordered two.
