Had a team dinner here one evening and ended up arriving two hours earlier than the dinner's scheduled start time. They welcomed... me in and invited me to sit at the bar for the two hours. I will underscore how attentive the hostess, bartender, and serverswere. Not only were they friendly, they were intuitive and engaging. However, with their wifi not working, it was a bitchallenging to catch up on work, so I did as much as I could've, while enjoying their happy hour drinks (3 p.m. - 6 p.m.). Atdinner, I ordered the deviled eggs and the candied bacon. Y'all, that candied bacon (thick, chopped up bacon bits glazed inhoney and topped with salt) was the tastiest thing ever. I enjoyed it so much, I ordered some to take home. I was a bit out offby the deviled eggs because they were pink (wasn't expecting that). Now, when the whisky cake came out, I wasn't expecting toget hooked on it. It was warm, soft, sweet, and crunchy (so, in short, the perfect dessert). Omg! Everything was delicious everything was fresh and hot I did not have to send anything back to the kitchen the meal I’ve... ever had you to try their duck wings so good, the salmon was so tender the steak was juicy tender I had the chicken burger withchip so good especially with that sauce. This was our first Restaurant Weeks 2022 meal. What a pleasure it was with a great meal and wonderful staff: thank you, Annie! ... The wood-fired redfish is really good, cooked to perfection and served with a brilliant salad. The deviled egg starter had allthe right notes, with nostalgic flavors working along with some new and pleasant surprises. The wait staff was kind and outgoing. I was hoping to see more vegetarian options but they were fairly limited. I know they... change their menu option monthly so I'm willing to go back. The drink menu was very creative and I love the non-alcoholic freshjuice options, that's uncommon for most restaurants of this caliber, kudos! As to be expected from the name, The Whiskey Cakewas delicious and large enough for 4 people. I love the decor and live plants all over the place. The bar was pretty cool aswell. Read more
Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar is amazing! The food is always so delicious, the service was fantastic and personable, and the drinks... were drop down phenomenal. Whiskey Cake Kitchen and Bar was along the way for us as we were driving to a strip mall and my brother in law had wanted to try... it, so we made a detour. Upon entering you will see an amazing wall of Whiskey that is bigger than any I'd ever seen; it isquite impressive. I ordered the Thai wings for an appetizer and they tasted great; like all of the meat was coming off the bonegood. They were a nice blend of Thai seasoning and crispy breading. For my entrée I ordered the chicken and waffles. Theselection was mainly due to the description of bacon infused waffles. It was like a mini treasure hunt searching each bite forthe bacon bits. The waffles was very fluffy. I opted to have the gravy on the side, but that is a personal choice. I heard thatthe gravy was amazing, but gravy just isn't really my thing. The chicken pieces were outstanding! They were juicy and full ofmeat with a very crunchy breading. The meal was VERY filling and delicious. About the only thing I didn't prefer was the syrupas it was a bit runny for my taste. That said, there was nothing wrong with the flavor. Although I did not partake in drinkingthe Whiskey, all those that had drinks expressed how good the drinks were. Very neatly prepared and presented. Food is amazing, vibes are amazing, our server Annie was super friendly, and the supervisor himself Rafael was very respectful,... friendly and kind. They both showed us the whiskey varieties and self picked our various whiskey flights. Food was delicious,recommended by the supervisor chef. Everything was delicious and perfect.
