Surprisingly it was busy for a Tuesday Night but Farmhouse never disappoints! Ordered the Butternut Squash Soup and OMG hands... down the best I\'ve ever had! I literally couldn\'t put my spoon down and when the waiter came to take it away bc they thought Iwas done, I said NOT YET! LOL. Five Stars! Look no further if you are seeking to host an event in Stamford. Truly, we had a fantastic experience working with... this restaurant! The manager Kiersten was absolutely incredible and essential in helping me to host a beautiful baby shower formy sister. Her attention to detail is beyond compare and she will go above and beyond to ensure that your vision is flawlesslyexecuted. She even designed menus for the event that matched our theme! We held our event in the Water Room which was spaciousand gorgeous! We loved the water feature! The food was so delicious that our guests continue to rave about it! First time at this new restaurant. Sat outside on large patio. Live solo guitarist/singer was good but could not hear well in... far reaches of patio, but still nice. Great covered tables, outdoor lighting, a fire pit lit at 8pm. Service/kitchen speed seems to have improved since opening about 6wks ago, looking at previous reviews. Had the marguerita flatbread to share asstarter, was size of pizza and delicious! I had the spring pasta with lobster tail, very good, and daughter had Thai noodle andshrimp cold salad, which she liked and would order again. My classic cosmopolitan had to be sent back, too tart but they fixedit. Was a lovely dinner out and well executed by this restaurant that had closed about 2yrs ago as The Tavern(?). Will defreturn! Cannot say enough!!!! Had a last minute party of 75! They handled it the champs!! A glass never\nWent empty. The food was... amazing!! The guests could not say enough. Keirsten took pictures for us. Gave us the best service ever. Coordinating was abreeze! Def visit this place and have your function here. Highly recommended!! Read more
The new Farmhouse at the Crossroads is a great experience. Only recently opened and it\'s interesting to see the restaurant... evolve and hit their stride. Food is creative and delicious. Chef Matt is committed to his craft. The GM, Kirsten is delightfuland works hard to provide the best dining experience. Brunch is probably my favorite with the Avocado Toast and small tastingflight of Bloody Mary\'s. The Medjool Dates are a must try. Chicken & Waffles are excellent (while they last - sell out quick).Craft beers, yum. Fun, great vibe, should totally have staying power. Read more
I’ve been a few times since they opened. I grew up going to what used to be the Long Ridge Tavern. I had the “stuffed... chicken” which was ok (pictured) along with “The kitchen sink” for dessert. Four of us shared the dessert, which wasdelicious! The cocktails we ordered were prepared to perfection. So good!\n\nService was lacking. We waited a long time for ourmeal and that was our only issue. It would have been nice to be notified or told by one of our waiters that our food would becoming out shortly. Just so we’re not left wondering what’s going on.\n\nI’d definitely go back but for the prices, theservice needs to be top notch. Customers paying these type of prices should have more attentive staff.\n\nThere are fewrestaurants in North Stamford, this may be the only one so I recommend supporting this establishment by dining in. Absolutely amazing, a-m-a-z-i-n-g food that is refreshing, fulfilling, and reasonably priced/portioned. Both the brunch and the... dinner are phenomenal and I recommend getting a few oysters too! The service is amazing and the restaurant is beautifullydecorated! 10/10 would recommend! Read more
This relatively new restaurant knows what it\'s doing. Although the welcome could be a tad warmer, and one of the rooms has... too-cool lighting that offsets the desired mood, the overall experience is excellent. The food is top notch and generous and thestaff is friendly, professional and eager to please. Prices are high, but you get what you pay for. A gem for North Stamford. Read more
