Easily the best tacos in Stamford. The birria tacos and consommé are my favorite thing on their menu and I try to make a point... to go every time they have it as a special. There’s always a line and people waiting for them to open which is a testament tohow good their food is! Expect a 10-20 min wait once you order but that just means it’s fresh and hot. It’s also the perfectamount of time to go for a walk and work up an appetite for some amazing food. They don’t always open at their posted time somake sure to follow their Instagram page to know where/when they are open and what the specials are. I had the steak burrito and it was delicious I loved all the... fresh ingredients and it was put together really really well I really enjoyed the flavor of the sauces. When my wife and I don't feel like cooking anything or it's a Friday or Saturday night and we're just hanging out and hunger is... kicking in, simultaneously we'll say.. "Yup.. it's a Jefe's night.." haha! We love this truck and the owners who are very sweetand personable individuals. They will take the time to explain whatever needs to be explained to you and have NEVER gotten ourorders incorrect. We've been to this truck MANY MANY times and it's always consistent and convenient since it's usually down thestreet for our place at a certain time. My wife likes their salsa verde while I LOOOVE their inferno sauce (take caution as itdoes have some kick to it!). Overall a wonderful place and a gem in Stamford to be enjoyed.
