Food is quite good. Not amazing, but solid and predictable. The fajitas had great depth of flavor - chicken was tender and... flavorful with caramelized vegetables and onions that left us scraping the plates. The chicken tacos were boring and flavorlesswith only that backend that tastes like the cook burned half of the chicken and just tossed the black bits. The margaritas arereally good, but don't ask to upgrade the tequila to anything much better than well. We did and the margaritas became the mostexpensive in Stamford. They are $16 MORE per drink for the same combination than the most expensive restaurant in town(Prime). Service was a bit of a mess. It took 3 requests to get water and we never got one of the drinks we ordered. Themargaritas didn't taste like the tequila we ordered, so we asked. The waitress said she forgot to ask and they were the regulartequila. The manager said they were the upgraded one. The bill seemed to side with the manager's version, with 2 margaritascosting $96. We had no proof either way and chose not to fight with them about it. We certainly didn't order another round. Read more
Food was good, however service was horrible. We stopped in while traveling from NY. Googled some spots and came across this one.... Restaurant was near empty on a nice afternoon. We sat outside. Four of us. Throughout the whole dining experience about 3-4waitresses helped us. One brought water. One did the drinks. One took the order... Someone else brought the food etc. Throughout that whole time, they didn't say a single word to us. Nothing.... Then at the end she slammed the check on the table...Maybe asking if we're all set??. Nothing... Just an odd experience. Also had to ask for refills for water... And there was fourof us.. but they only brought 3 sets of silverware... Had to flag someone else for that. Very disappointing... Especially sincethe street view and seating is pretty nice and the food was good. But because of the odd service if ever in the area I would notgo back. Terrible. Like a before shot of Kitchen Nightmares episode. If you like below, this is the place for you: Waiter ignores you... when you walk up to him, make eye contact, wave him down. Acted like he hates working there. Doesn't give you WATER?? Had toask 6 times eventually asked a different lady who seemed nice. Refill on that water? Forget about it. Manager has no thinkingor customer service skills. Hard headed who doesn't care about anything but $$. Luckily the location allows him to losecustomers quickly, which is probably why he acts like a gapping ???? ???? . There is 50/50 chance on food being okay or gross.How do you cook fajitas without oil? No sizzle and burnt veggies/meat. Side dishes were also like size of children sides. Love the atmosphere here. Food and drinks are good. Live music some nights. Waitress should be a bit more attentive to customers... when they first arrive. On several occasions I had to find my own table to sit then hunt the waitress down to take my order.Other then that's is a very nice place to have dinner. Great place for couples or big groups. Most importantly, the food was amazing. Everything was fresh and tasty. Ordered the Nachos with shredded chicken as appetizer,... the Fajitas with Chicken & Beef and the Spicy Beef Tips (Puntas in Chipotle Sauce) for dinner. I was a little disappointed withthe serving size of the Beef tips and the sides. The side dishes of rice and refried beans were excruciatingly small consideringhow cheap that food is. The Beef tips were amazingly tender and delicious, but if there were more than 5 mouthfuls of beef, thatwas a lot. Alongside the beef tips was a tiny salad. It was a $25 dish...I expected more. If not for the serving sizes vs.price, I would have given it 5 stars. Read more
Horrible bouncers; great nightclub other than that. (don't eat there, drink are passable) Paid $13 for a drink and left a $3.33... tip; tried to walk out with a drink only to have the bouncer throw my drink on the floor. I will cancel my payment for thisdrink I never drank. Avoid this place if you want to avoid bouncers on a power trip; these clowns think they are cops. ???? ???????? Read more
