While visiting this city for a family event, we walked around the city looking for a place to have lunch and relax after a long... drive. Siena met all our needs. Good food,but not great. wine prices by the glass were too high for a lunch..I ordered good home made pasta with a Ragu sausage... sauce which was much to spicey for me with no warning on menu..wife had nice piece of salmon..good, but $$$$ for lunch.. Read more

This is one of my “go tos”! Great professional staff that delivers on the service. Amazing chef that creates magic. One of... the best eggplant parmigiana ever! Fresh seafood, great pastas, daily specials and a fabulous wine list! There is always a buzzat lunch with plenty of the local businesses people. You know it’s a great place when you see a lot of regulars there all thetime and lots of Italians! A few things I really appreciate: The bread, complementary beens & lemon cello. Horrible service! Update In response to the owner: It's MRS. to YOU. Thanks for your condescending reply. I had the... Barbarossa salad and your server couldn’t even answer how much it was to add protein. Meanwhile, you charged us for 2 Caesarsalad’s. My statement stands, we had a horrible experience here. I’ll update my review and say the food was bland andmediocre. We will NEVER come back, and WILL NOT recommend this basic restaurant to anyone. Most of these reviews seem stagedanyway. Posting a review after my third meal at Siena. I LOVE this restaurant. The food is always amazing. I usually get simple pasta... dishes, but they are out of this world, and always taste like a home cooked meal. I also love their cookie biscuits (not sure ifthey are biscottis per se) that come with the espresso, I want to take a box home. Go eat here for some great Italian food andatmosphere (the staff is so kind and friendly). Read more
