On our way home to Missouri, we wanted a home-cooked meal. Blue Jean Cafe did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

This is overall a cool place. The original wood floors are in great shape and they pulled the walls down to the original shiplap... and painted it. There is more space in this house than you think there is as you enter, but it is still pretty small. The staffhere is all very young. But they are well trained and did a great job waiting tables. The food is great. There are somedifferent flavors in their meet, gravy, fries, etc but it's all very good. If your traveling through or stopping in Stamford,give this place a try. The food is delicious. Staff is usually very friendly. Dessert was delicious. My only disappointment is that I didn't get to try... the sugar cookie cake because they were out. But the key lime pie and tacos were amazing! Read more
This place is a gem in small town Stamford! The food was AMAZING, and the whole space has been so nicely done. The rooms are... still all separated off, just like a home, so I could see this being a great place for celebrating special occasions. The fishtacos were SO GOOD. The only draw back I could see were the dessert prices being a bit high. We ordered Key Lime Pie to-go, andthe slice was very small for the price.
