Beautiful view of Lake Lackawanna (in Stanhope, NJ) from their outdoor deck. The burger I had was very tasty but not... extraordinary. Their were other dishes that looked more interesting that other people ordered. The staff are very friendly andmake dining enjoyable. They also have entertainment on certain evening. Read more
The Alibi has a nice ambience in regards to the waterfront dining and beach vibe and they have good live entertainment. I will... say the outdoor seats aren't the most comfortable, you may want to bring your own cushion. The staff is pleasant and friendly,but last two times I was here the restaurant was very backed up. The food is a hit or miss; the pretzel appetizer is good andthe Mediterranean sandwich is decent. I would NOT recommend the boneless buffalo wings, I had them during my most recent visitand they were very disappointing. They appeared to be grocery store chicken nuggets with buffalo sauce on them - certainly notworth the $15 price tag. I did not mention it to the waitress or management when there as the place was very busy that night.. Read more
The apps and ambiance were AMAZING. Loved the vibe! The guys waiting on our table were just awesome. The vegetarian options left... a lot to be desired. The burger was a little dry, the tacos looked like the burger patty was just cut In half and the blackpepper noodles had a LOT of black pepper! Great ideas, but needs some Finessing. Read more
Ambience was great. Appetizers were awesome. Pretzels were soft and appropriately salted. Corn was great with fresh... jalapeño. However disappointed with the main course. Burgers were less flavorful and black pepper Asian noodles wereoverpowered with black pepper. Tacos lacked appropriate filling and less flavorful. Can add a few more vegetarian options. Read more
Had a great late lunch/early dinner at Alibi. We went for the views. The food was pretty decent. Had mango habanero wings and... calamari to start. I ate a Caesar salad, the boyfriend, a burger. Loved their Chardonnay. Service was stellar. Andrew was afantastic server. Probably even better than those in NYC. I’d definitely return! Read more
This place is great. There are 3 distinct "areas" and each is really nice. The outdoor dining area is fantastic - right on the... lake, with live music (but crucially, the music isn't so loud to ruin the vibe, it's perfect). The calamari was very tasty, myturkey sandwich was excellent, and my wife loved her veggie burger. Will definitely return here regularly. Read more
Food was good. Great atmosphere. We had a party of 17 and things moved along well. I will say that the burger I had (23/20) the... Taylor ham was too done for me but was good nonetheless especially with the Alabama white sauce. Adam was our server and he wasvery attentive to us all even the kidz!
