Bad service and poor quality food. We got there around 3 pm and it was pretty empty. The atmosphere was kind of weird. Servers... were rude to each other in front of us and also had to be reminded to tend to tables that had people and wanted to leave but noone was there to give them their check. They have two types of burgers. Regular and Kobe. Kobe is of course way more expensive.When ordering a burger the waiter didn't ask or clarify which burger I wanted. I assumed that when I said "a burger" it would bejust an old regular basic burger especially when there were no questions from the server. When we asked for a check the pricewas very steep. We asked why and the guy said it's the right price for their Kobe Burger which I didn't order of course. To my"but I ordered just a regular burger" he replied that "Kobe burgers are their regular burgers". If you have no other options inStanley just be mindful. I am pretty sure they are told not to ask intentionally so they can just charge you more. For 20$Burger came with a one piece of wilted lettuce and an old looking piece of tomato... I recommend Stanley Supper Club instead ifit's open. They have unexpectedly good food and their bread is amazing. Read more
We were told to come here by a friend. It was a very busy weekend, so we were expecting to wait. However, the food came up... quickly and then it sat on the counter for nearly 15 min. Multiple servers walked past it. Because of the heat all the doorswere open, which meant flies. When they finally figured it out, they brought it to us. The server knew it was bad, andimmediately ask if everything was ok. After my husband mentioned that we watched it sit for more then 10 minutes, he asked if wewould like it remade. For $15 dollars for Finger Steaks, and $20 for a burger, yes we would like our food hot. The final straw,was he offered us a 10% discount for the issue, then proceeded to give his Buddy behind us a much larger discount just because.This on top of watching a waitress Drinking a Corona while working. The food was okay, definitely not $15 for finger steaksgood…Seriously, we were not expecting free, but to give a buddy a discount just for coming, but to try to serve food you knewhad been sitting on the counter because you walked past it multiple times is disrespectful to your patrons. Stopped here after 4 days of backpacking in the Sawtooths. Service was amazing from the time we walked in. We ordered the... burgers dressed the way we wanted. The burger was even more amazing than the service. It was hot, filling and the hot, saltyfries with the fry sauce was the perfect complement. Would easily go back if ever in the area again. Read more
Stopped by for lunch mid week. Not crowded. Pleasant service. Meal was served quickly and hamburgers were cooked perfectly. My... only reason for not posting five stars was the price…food plus tax plus $10 tip was $60 for three hamburgers three frenchfries and three waters. Ouch! I realize we ate at a restaurant in a small town in the middle of nowhere but $14 burgers and $2each for a slice of cheese is a bit prohibitive for a family meal if you have a few kids in tow. This has to be arguably the best place in Stanley to get a burger & fries meal that's delicious and offers one of the more... affordable options for the area. The quarter pound Angus burger is amazing and full of great flavor. Even after we ate it, aremouth was salivating for more. We will be coming back here whenever we are in the area and are craving a good burger. Thecustomer service was also really great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with any request. Kind and took time to speak withyou. The place has a great local feel to it. Our one complaint is that they were very skimpy on the fries. We would have lovedto have more, they definitely gave less fries with their meal than any place we have been at in this area. Would make for aperfect meal if that one thing was adjusted! Other than that, its a great place to eat and would highly recommend it. Read more
Great service, ambiance (especially in the outdoor seating) and awesome views of the mountains. We tried the blue cheese burger... and fried steak fingers and were more than happy. The fries were also great. Read more
Great place, great people, awesome food. I had the Baked Goat Cheese appetizer, it was awesome. I also had 1/4 lb burger, it was... very nice & juicy; the fries were great, I didn't even used salt or ketchup. Remember when you go visit small town restaurantslike this one. 1- give a big tip 2- respect their hometown 3- slow down while driving. Read more
