Sahara has long been a staple Stanwood cuisine. We finally got to try it and the pizza was very good. Four stars only because... the price is quite high for the amount of pizza you get. We'd eat here again as a splurge. Read more
$80 for 2 family size pizza, 2 liter and bread sticks. The pizza in the picture was the ultimate sahara. Supposed to have "hefty... offering" of toppings. There are 3 pieces of green pepper on there, slightly more pieces of onion. Ive worked in pizza places,you almost have to try to put that few of toppings. Otherwise it did taste good. Read more
I scheduled a delivery for 11:45 in the afternoon and at 12:30 the food had still not arrived. So, I called the restaurant to... figure out what was happening. I got hung up on twice without speaking to anyone. When someone finally got on the phone theperson was unjustifiably rude and curt. I get if you are busy and I was calm about the whole interaction. They told me they hadreceived an order of 40 pizzas when they first opened and they had no chance to contact me. Which I understood. Things happen.But the rude behavior on the phone was something they could control. Shame on you for being rude to someone for being curiousabout their order when it was nearly an hour late. I was not being hostile or rude, so I do not understand why I was notafforded the same courtesy. Read more
I order from here regularly, it?s always pretty darn good . Tonight it was not , I ordered the XL pizza and it was awful ,... different cook perhaps? Dough didn?t proof ? It was paper thin unlike the normally denser crust which is usually airy ,savoryand delicious. It seemed like a small pizza dough was used and overstretched . Very dissatisfied. Read more
Save your money. I manage to give them a chanceat least once a year. Hoping for change. Burnt crust top and bottom, so rubbery... you could not bite it, and this was suppose to be extra chicken. If it was crispy, it may have been different. If I coud giveno stars I would. $25 Plus for this. Read more
Update 2years later... we still only order from Sahara love their pizza ???? We ordered 2 pizzas and honey bourbon chicken... wings on a Saturday night. Expected delivery 45 min to an hour delivery to Camano Island. I think we got it around 40 minutesand we were hungry. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. Plus we had a coupon. This will be the only place I orderfrom now. The pizza shown is Ketchikan with smoked salmon and pesto, wild dill. Read more
