There is no more of the all-you-can eat custom bowls like the Green Bowl used to be known for. It's more of a sit-down spot... where you order Asian noodle bowls. I got the noodles with pork and chili. Omg it was absolutely fabulous. The pork was tender,veggies cooked perfectly, and the perfect amount of spice. The noodles were the star for me. The chef came out and mentionedthat they were hand-made and the taste reflected his statement. They were so tender and absorbed the sauce incredibly well. Been here multiple times and I love the food there so much, the service is always welcoming and considerate!
The food is tasty and they have some choices of veggies, proteins and noodles. But I didn?t enjoy the service. The older Asian... lady immediately let me know it was $10 per bowl with only 1 meat and seemed pre-occupied with her own stuff and was rushingthrough explaining how things work. She was serving herself lunch in some corner while serving guests and also had her friendsover. So she was sitting and chatting with them. I was the only customer in there around 1pm and some of the sauce bowls wereempty. My recommendation will be to have better service, offer more variety in food choices and decorate the place a bit more tomake it lively. Read more

This is my new favorite restaurant in state college! If you are going for your first time, look at the ?custom bowls? menu and... follow one of their sauce recipes rather than trying to guess and mix your own blindly. Fresh ingredients, great variety, greattaste, and all of it is cooked which appeased any of my concerns about buffet style eating (you assemble the ingredients andTHEN the bowl is cooked). As soon as I entered, I wanted to leave but I decided to give it a try. A small bowl is enough to fill you because you can put... as much as you?d like on it. You can customize and build your own stir fry which they will then cook for you. At my own fault, Ididn?t know what sauces to use for my plate but it still tasted fine. I had a problem with a few things when coming in. It firstlooked unsanitary when trying to build my plate. My main concern was that there was cross contamination when our food wasbrought out to us. If I had a peanut allergy or some other sorts, it could have been a big problem. We were also assigned seatsand could not sit where we wanted to. It would have been fine if my table was clean before sitting down but it was cleaned whileseated. Meanwhile there were plenty of open seats that were clean. I would not come here again. Read more
I wanted to post this review because so many others have said such negative things. First off, this place is so good! I have... been here two times and the soup is amazing! The menu has changed from what it used to be so it is NO longer all you can eatbuffet noodles. But, this place is worth a visit for sure! It is small, but very authentic Chinese noodles for a decent price.The chili oil is also fantastic and I highly recommend you add it to your food. I ordered the Pork with rice noodles soup, andlet me tell you the portion size is so big! It can easily be shared by two people. I would say that their soup is better tastingand priced than Tadashi ramen downtown. Also, the servers are very polite and attentive. Note- there is a small fee for usingcredit cards about 3.4%.
