Very friendly with quick service. The young lady at the bar offered drinks menu with a food menu. Their in house beers were... great. Food was out of bounds. My wife and I had shrimp and grits and the wings plus a soft pretzel . All were awesome. Metnew friends there that night because the whole place has a friendly atmosphere. A definite stop anytime in State College. Parking fills up fast so get an early start in. Read more

I had a really good experience at HVBC. The service is really good and the bartenders were willing to allow us to try a variety... of different beer before deciding on one, which is brewed in house. They also have a really good cocktail selection as well ifyou’re not into beer. The food was also outstanding. I got a salad and it was absolutely massive. From most people would begood for multiple meals and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Also I think it’s a must to get the fish and chips. Everyoneknows the standard fish and chips is cod, but Happy Valley makes it with Barramundi and it’s absolutely incredible. Each pieceis well worth the price and it’s fried to perfection. Read more

What I really enjoy from this restaurant is their decorations. If you look up at the ceiling, there are lots of pictures and art... works which are really special to me, leaving a very good impression. Besides, the service is very good as well. 2nd visit and this place is the bomb! Sit downstairs in the bar, you will not be disappointed. Wings, short rib grilled... cheese, and nachos are all fantastic. Beer is good and cocktails have good pours. Pay this place a visit on your way in or outof town. Read more
