Good service. The only Cheesesteak you should consider in State College! The wings are my favorite in the area as well. Always... attentive service, chill atmosphere. Typically no undergrads. The name is deceiving, it?s not a whiskey bar. Great selection of drinks and beers. Beer prices are great too. The food was... absolutely excellent. Shared a burger and cheesesteak with my daughter and they were top notch. The fries are super fresh andcrispy. We will definitely return here for dinner. Servers were very friendly and attentive. Came here for good drinks and food. The drinks were great as per usual. We order fish & chips just like we had a few weeks ago.... We were served a plate of French fries and a despicable piece of fish. Small, embarrassing and insulting. When we ordered thispreviously it came with over twice as much. The plate cost $16 which is ridiculous when you realize it was less then $5 for thefries. We asked to make sure it wasn?t a mistake and we?re told it?s done by weight. We?ve eaten here and drank Many times but Iwill not bring my business back again. The manager came to talk to us to let me know the fish cost more and there?s nothing hecan do. One of my favorite bars in State College. It?s one of the low key bars where you can drink and it?s not shoulder to shoulder.... The whiskey list is extensive with plenty of cocktails for everyone. Food is always outstanding and they always have newspecials. Read more

2nd time visitors and honestly - they missed the mark this time. If the food was hot it would have been a 5 star for sure. We... visited on a non football weekend so the crowd was perfectly busy and festive without the wait and noise. Walked in at around7:30/8pm on a Saturday. We ordered the romance burger deal and shared it with an upsell of fries. The presentation was nice butthe food was cold. It seemed as if the burger patties were precooked and then thrown on the grill to warm up. Problem is theyneeded to keep it there another few minutes. We should have sent it back but we handn?t eaten all day and were famished. Ourmistake bc the burger had potential to be awesome if warm/freshly made. Our cocktails were creative and delicious.
