I always enjoy going to Sowers in downtown State College. I have been there a bunch of times. They have amazing soft pretzels,... great omelets, and a bunch of other good stuff. They also have pretty good vegetarian (not necessarily vegan) options. The placegets pretty busy around lunch time, but the staff is usually up to the task. NOTE: they have burgers on Thursdays. There are a ton of things when speaking highly about this place. First off, the service is phenomenal every time you walk in the... door. The staff is extremely friendly and they all seem like they enjoy being there. When you walk in there it feels very homelyand they do a really good job with the decor. The food is also tremendous. You won?t find a better soft pretzel anywhere in thearea and the sandwiches are all made on sourdough bread. It?s also a great spot to go for a coffee or tea to go. Read more

Went here this afternoon for the first time with my grandparents who were visiting from 1.5 hour away. Food was great!! I highly... recommend the pretzels! The plain was so good, I got a cinnamon sugar pretzel to take home. Everyone is super friendly and thefood is made fresh! We will definitely be going here again! Read more
