Excellent alternative to those waffle slop shops. A little further out of town but worth the trip. Place is clean and food is... good with great variety. You can even find healthy options on the menu here. Service was excellent. Very friendly and attractivegirls who are always smiling. There is a especially cute redhead working there that was very good. Definitely will be back againwhen I'm the area. Read more

We've been passing this place for years in the weekends. Parking lot is always packed and we always say sometime we need to stop... and see what the buzz is. Well, today was the day. And I'm sorry we did. I had the chicken Caesar wrap with fries and they weretasteless. My stomach has been in knots since eating there. My husband had a breakfast and the brown crisp edge on his dippyeggs looked amazing and he said it was alright. What a disappointment though after thinking this place must be amazing with thecrowds they draw on the weekends. Read more

We really enjoyed our breakfast here! The menu has a lot of interesting food options. I really enjoyed my "hash bowl", and my... girlfriend enjoyed her waffle and sides. The coffee and tea options available are a huge perk over, say, the waffle shop, because they offer lattes/cappuccinos along with milk substitutes (oat, almond). Every staff member we interacted with was veryfriendly. We plan on coming again to try their homemade corn beef hash as well as some of their dishes involving smokedsalmon/crab which piqued our interest. Read more

Wonderful place for breakfast. I was worried with all the bad reviews claiming false things. But after getting my food, I have... to say it was a great experience. I came on the Sunday at 10 and there was about a 10 minute wait which isn?t bad. Therestaurant is located on the outskirts of State College. The parking lot fills quick so people usually park on the other side ofthe road. Hash bowl (10/10): amazing breakfast combo. For only $10 too? such a great price and a great dish. I loved the spicysauce and everything inside. It all worked together. Probably one of my favorite breakfast dishes I?ve ever had. Waffle (9/10):great waffle, not as good as the waffle shop though but still good. Banana bread (9/10): great. The bread was moist on theinside and had good flavors. Came out warm Home fries (7/10): average home fries, nothing special. Kinda lackedseasoning Overall, great experience. Everything came out to $30 which I thought was amazing. I?ll definitely be coming back!Probably my favorite place for breakfast now in the area. Read more

This is a cute little place for quality breakfast. The location is a bit far from State college, almost on the outskirts. The... place was fairly busy when we visited them but managed to get a seat without any waiting. I tried their waffle with fruits plusa Cafe latte. The waffle was fine and the fruits (banana, strawberry and blueberries) were fresh. The service was quick andstaff were very helpful. A great location for quality breakfast. Read more

Pros: you can find egg Benedict. Coffee is quite good. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Kind staffs. Cons: a bit slow service. Once... we got foods on paper plates. Not many tables. Menu: egg benedicts are great. Home fries are kinda signature menu, but they areavailable only before 11am. Conclusion: this is less heavier than Waffle Shop. I will come for egg benedicts. We've always wanted to try this place, but since we're normally up in State College on football weekends, the waits are usually... too long. However, we happened to be up in April on a random weekend so we stopped for breakfast on Sunday. It was mid morningon an overcast day, and it was still an hour wait. The place is not very big, and with the parking lot full we had to parkalong the main road (PA 26). Once we were seated though, we ordered and the food came out pretty quickly. We had the CrabBenedict, Huevos Rancheros, Biscuit and Gravy, and a side of loaded tots. Loaded tots were basic, but everything else wasdelicious. My only complaint was the amount of salsa on the Huevos Rancheros was a big temperature contrast to the rest of theplate, so it caused the food to come out only lukewarm. Read more
